Commissioned request from one of my repeat customers that ordered Kingdom Hearts II Demyx, Axel, Roxas, ff7 Reno, and Ceil + Alois cross-dressing lolitas.
So here's Thor from the Avengers- Loki will be joining him here in a couple weeks.
My Little Pony base is an engineered pose from two similar generation 3 ponies- head from a ice skating pony with the light-up crown, and the body is of a star catcher that had the 3-dimensional swirls and magnet in one of the rear legs.
Full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics, eyes are also acrylics. Textured acrylics to achieve "5 o' clock shadow" for his beard/mustache. XD Made a softer expression for his eyes by doing a light dry dusting of metallic champagne acrylics over the realism textures of the outer areas of his eyes.
Mane and tail are re-rooted in dollyhair and restoredoll hair in the colors of golden sun, butter creme, caramel cream, and Meghan.
Stand is a giant washer I bought at a hardware store for 65 cents. It offers a perfect balance for keeping the rearing pony pose up without any fuss, and it's perfect size for minimalizing shelf space! When attached via magnetizism, the washer is practically part of the pony. You barely notice it unless you intentionally want to take it from the magnet on the bottom of the pony hoof. Buying a washer also doesn't distract from the motivation of working on the rest of the pony.
Outfit is entirely hand-sewn leather. Black and red. All silver portions are black leather I painted in metallic pewter and silver acrylics. Pants of burgundy bias tape and red plastic strips hand-sewn to them. Boots and pants have black plastic strips detailing them. Black strips are on belt too.
Black and gray ribbons detail boots and belt.
Arm armor is plastic rhinestones painted in gray and metallic pewter acrylics, glued onto thick cotton material via fabric glue.
Hammer is a painted square bead on a pike-shaped pendant, permanently attached to the front right leg. Also is part of the pony, like the stand!
