IF they made a Toy Story 4,
wouldn't it be awesome if they featured MLP?!

After all.. at the end of TS3.. Woody, Buzz and the other toys are
given to a little girl named Bonnie.

Well.. maybe Bonnie has a neighbor or friend with mlps running
amok between their houses!!~

If Disney Pixar did make a TS4.. would you want to see
the G4 Ponies come to life.. Fashion Style Rarity and Applejack gossiping
up on a shelf :)

Or.. would you like to see the older G1s?
Night Glider flirting with Ice Crystal by a bubbling fish tank~

What ponies would you like to see featured?
 
I'd prefer to see G1s if that ever did happen, as it'd be fantastic for parent nostalgia, but I think it was far likelier to happen back around the time of Toy Story than it is now... back when said parents were the little ones being dragged off to see the movie in cinemas by their parents. I don't think most of today's kids and tweens would actually still recognize the older gens, and they'd be more likely to put in Monster High dolls and Littlest Pet Shop than FiM characters. Those are some of the most iconic toy brands on shelves at the moment.
 
If they made a TS4, it would only make sense for them to put G4 representing the brand. Unless they wanted to make a tribute to the history of the franchise, and honestly, I don't think Pixar would be interested in doing that. As for my personal preference... I don't know. I like "toys-come-to-life" stories usually, but for some reason, Toy Story never resonated all that well with me. G1... maybe? Have no idea what they'd do with it, though.

As a side note, I figure the reason neither MLP nor Transformers are represented in Toy Story as a whole is because during the production of the first one, their respective franchises were either dying (MLP G1 was on its last legs in Europe, while in the US it had been dead for years), or currently down and in the process of being revamped (TF's transition from G2 to Beast Wars). Just speculating, of course, but definitely a possibility.
 
I think Disney would want to show off the new franchises they have acquired like Marvel and Star Wars before they would show MLP.

Yea I have to agree. It's easier to incorporate your own franchise without paying to use someone else's. But that aside, that would be such a cool TS addition!
 
In every TS they feature all kinds of different toys..
even if just for a comical moment ~

I've always loved the underline humor in TS,
and oh my gosh if there was a scene where they showed
(even just for a moment) My Little Ponies giggling n talking I'd smile so big~

You never know.. they did use Lotso-Hugs Bear in TS3~
An old vintage looking clown too~
The Monkey was an out-dated toy too, wasn't he?

If they went to do a TS4.. they would need some fresh characters.
Ones not seen in the other films~ Even if they use a few as background toys~
With all this Brony and Pony love that has exploded over the past few years,
I'd almost bet they just might throw a genuine MLP character in there :)

I'd prefer there never be a Toy Story 4 at all, but if corporate greed forced it into existence, I'd prefer to see G1s. They would be able to reinforce the ideal of cycling toys up through the generations a great deal better than the G4s.
 
I don't think I'd like that unless it was in the background or just a mention. It would be fun to have some kind of reference to G1's being older than G4's, or something like that.
 
This is so much fun to think about! While I think everyone's right that it'd be unlikely we can at least enjoy speculating.

I think it'd make sense if maybe there was a slightly beat-up G1, a really bizarre looking fakie (who's either obnoxiously large or small in comparison to the group) and maybe two G4s. There's absolutely still kids out there who play with G1 ponies that have been passed down and it'd be an interesting dynamic between the characters if the beat-up G1 was their leader. It'd even be fun just to see any kind of pony in the TS series - I remember a stuffed unicorn who I believe was in 3 but something a little more MLPish would be awesome.
