Toys/Dolls from yesterday that don't work today: Photo

Thanks @tulagirl , now I totally need a Tiny Tears! I tried to avoid her cuteness but this just seals the deal. I can't believe some dolls used to come with bubble pipes!

The best part is that we got my boyfriend a real wooden pipe to blow bubbles out of a handful of years ago. They could match!

You must get her for sure, but beware she is hard to find in good condition because she is made of none other than that stinkin rubber. Usually the little 12 inch is your best bet for her.

A lot of the ones I saw on Google have snow white faces and fleshtone bodies. Kind of bizarre, but hey, a ghost baby with a bubble pipe is pretty dang cool! :p

Its a shame she's made of that darn rubber though. That'll be a pain! At least she could be friends with Baby Linda.

Yes that is a problem. Just keep looking and you will find a nice one. Now there is a trick and that is to use cosmetic face compact powder. I learned this from a Barbie Mod 60's collector. She said when there was a white spot on the face to rub the flesh facial powder into the spot and it would disappear for display at least. I did it and it worked like a charm. I just don't remember if I did it to Tiny girl or not. I would suggest waiting until you see a better one. They can be found in better shape trust me. Yea the Ghost Bubbler was made for Halloween. She blows a ghost in a bubble in your house. The only thing is you have to accept whatever type of ghost you get. It could be mean or it could be nice.

@tulagirl I would really love to have a nice Tiny Tears, but you know my weakness. I'll end up with a little hoard of sad ghosts because I felt bad for them!

That's a really cool trick though! I'll have to keep that in mind. I don't have any makeup around the house but that would definitely be a good reason to buy some. Tiny spots always drive me nuts. Big problems, generally not a big deal. But teeny tiny ones? Annoying!

Haha! At least bubble ghosts would be cute :)
