Trading Card Rumor

So I heard a rumor that enter-play is not going to be making the cards anymore? Is there any truth to that?

Are they just on a break? Are stores just out right now? Are they releasing a set 2 so they're quitting set 1? Are they just quitting pony cards all together? AHHHH So many questions!

Sorry to bother everypony but I really wasn't sure what was going on. It seems I JUST started collecting the cards and now I've heard rumor they're quitting, so I'm a little upset that I wont be able to get them all.

I know with the wave 3 blind bag ponies I just started collecting wave 3 and then they started releasing wave 4. Luckily I completed my wave 3 but it was a close call, I can't find wave 3 anywhere anymore.

Because of that I was worried the cards would be the same.

Anypony got any information?

Who started that rumor? That rumor is awful! Enterplay sold out of their first printing as demand was higher than expected, but never fear! The second printing of set one will be hitting stores in October. Obviously, if set one sells well, set two is definitely a possibility...so...take that as you will.

Please put that terrible, horrible rumor to rest, as it simply is not true.

ETA: Straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak:

"My Little Pony Temporarily Sold Out
MLP Trading Cards have sold at an accelerated rate and most stores are now sold-out. Some can still be found at Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, and Hot Topic, but there’s no guarantee that a specific store will have them in stock. Meanwhile, rest assured we are doing everything we can to get more on the shelves. Product should begin shipping again around the last week in September and should start appearing on store shelves shortly thereafter."

MoonWillow if you just started collecting and you need any cards I've got a whole bunch of commons and what not to trade (cards for cards, cards for drawings, cards for ponies, ect I just like trading and I have oodles of cards! if you're interested!)
