I kind of can't believe it, but within the span of a week I've acquired both Cutesaurus and Oakly! Without breaking the bank! They are in such good condition, too. Cutesaurus' only flaw is a blush rub, which you can't really see unless you're examining closely because she's so bright red already. Oakly's tail has been trimmed and he has a little red spot on his NDS... but it's his NDS, so it doesn't really matter to me.
Also, I wish I remembered to take pre-restoration pics of this one:
Her mane and tail were kind of hopeless, so I gave her new ones and re-pearlized her where the paint had rubbed off on her wings and cheeks. There were a few scratches I couldn't fix, but I'm still pretty happy with the outcome, nonetheless.
Anyway, I'm super excited about all this because I haven't really collected since summer of 2010 (except for San Diego Comic Con- I always get the con ponies) because my husband and I moved in with his parents 'til we could save enough for a down payment for our first house. We moved at the end of November, but I didn't unpack the collection room until the end of January. It's still a work-in-progress, but then again, aren't they always?
