Hmm. . .if you look at the bidding history it's really weird. All 0 and 1 feedback bidders.
 
And the same two bidders, it appears to be, one of them less than 30 days on ebay. I've purchased from that seller before and have always been satisfied... One has to wonder if someone is playing a nasty game on *her*... bidding the pony way up like that with no intention, perhaps, of paying? :( (either that or it's some really bizarre real life feud between the two bidders LOL)

Some people are foolish enough to do what's called "nuclear"(?) bidding.
Basically, to guarantee they get an item, they bid an amount they don't think it could ever go for and then walk away believing the bidding will stop at a fair price.
Usually people who use that kind of bidding are newer, either they haven't gotten burned yet or they've opened a new account after losing their old one for not paying.
My guess would be that two newbies each placed nuclear bids. I bet that neither pays and it ends up relisted.
Someone with that much feedback probably wouldn't risk shilling on a cheap item like that. Even if they knew the first bidder nuclear bid, it still wouldn't be worth the risk to shill as someone with 1 feedback isn't going to pay that much for that item.

BUT! I have the answer. Tail rust is now a very highly desirable and valuable thing to have on your pony :p Quick, everyone, run to your bait boxes!:bonk:

well...it probably is a couple of newbies having a laugh, which is not nice...but I really hope it isn't, and that jazzy gets the money. If that's the going rate for that Minty then I may have to sell mine!! :lol:
 
That is a real shame if it's just two newbies playing around.
If they plan on paying up though? Man I'm jealous of the seller!
