What do you get when you mix peacocks and Steampunk? Well, something like this!
"Yes, I know I'm beautiful. Thank you for noticing."
Verdigris started life as Forget-Me-Not. While you can't see it now, her face was completely mauled by some sharp, small-toothed critter (I'd guess cat based on the punctures!) Liquid Sculpey to the rescue! Meanwhile, I'd made up a new wing pattern for my Steampunk gals. I hadn't done anything with it up to now, but when pony and wings got in close enough proximity, I knew they were meant to be together. The last ingredient was, naturally, the feathers I had left over from Siramarg the Peacock. Some of them would look just smashing with copper and brown, and there we are. One patina-ed pony. Time for some pics!
Her hair is a mix of a bunch of the copper, red, and brunette saran colors from DollyHair and RestoreDoll, plus a bit of nylon Mango Tango, Key Lime and Poison Ivy. Her mane feathers are just peeking out here.
Since the colors came out so autumnal, I added a few little jewelry accents in lieu of painted symbols; here you can see her hoof leaf and jewel.
And if that's not enough for you, her wings are also easily removable!
You can also untie her tail bow and remove all those accessories, or swap out ribbon colors. I didn't untie them for this photoshoot, though.
Her peacock herl tail piece (the pompom at the end) was also designed to be poseable, so you can bend it around as needed to show it off when she's strutting her stuff.
"Thank you for admiring my greatness! What, did you just mutter that I'm conceited under your breath? Flutter ponies are not conceited. We're just better than you are."
Heh heh, don't mind her... she was spoiled as a baby bait.
