One of the malls in the city has a vintage MLP ride. The kind you put in change and the kids get to ride. I have not seen one before or at least that I can remember. LMK if anyone would like to see the pic I took of my girl sitting on it.

Sure, I'd love to see!

Aren't those neat? I've seen a few in threads before, and I think I may have seen one in person once. Someone actually offered to sell me one at one time, but I turned it down because where on earth would I put that? ;)

Kim has a whole page on her site dedicated to at least one version of the vintage-style ride: My Little Pony Ride-On ~~ "Dream Valley" Web Site

And this is Sherbet's thread here from a few years ago:

I've read about them being in different colors, it would be fun to see some different ones!

I begged for the one in the Danbury Mall in CT, but they wouldn't sell it to me! I don't think I'd love to have any pony thing more than one of these. I just love the ride on stuff! (And I don't think I weigh too much to get on one comfortably)... is there a weight limit on these guys?

Where are you?

I would love to see some pictures. <3 I hope to own one of those someday.

I have pics from one from the Greece Ridge Mall in Greece NY. She was painted like Melody from the Tales series but she had stars for a symbol.

And alas, shortly after I took my pics of it the pony ride disappeared. No idea what happened to it. I'll see if I can dig my old photos up.

Greece Ridge! That's right near me! How did I not know?!

I'm so disappointed in myself.

Sorry I realized the only pics I took had my twins in it. I am careful about posting anything with their pics online. So had to snap a couple the next time I was at that mall.

It's awesome! :shockpony: I didn't know MLP made official rides! I don't recognize the pony, though... who is it? It looks like Melody from MLP Tales with a different symbol.

I saw one of the blue ones, similar to the Dream Valley photos in the link, sell on eBay about a month ago for $1000. I wonder who the lucky bidder was!
