Wal-Mart to stop carrying MLP???!!!

I don't think Hasbro is going to want to loose Walmart sales because every company seems to think their stuff should be in Walmart. Just nutso how our business thing works. If they aren't there just go to the stores they are in..thats what I do. I have to admit though that I rarely see any new G4 stuff and just figured the line is suffering.

Yeah, usually when I go to Wal-mart, I take out m' front teef n leave my shoes in the wagon :lol:
 
I hope that's not true! One of the Walmarts near me did say that they did not carry any mlp merch but I've been able to get some stuff, much less now, from the other branches. But I'm in Canada not the states so I dont know if that makes a difference.
 
OGOD NO. My Walmart ios the only place that gets the new stuff. My TRU and Zellers are all full of wave 1.
 
My local Walmart has no more ponies however the Toys R Us in my area has all the G4s up to the Blossomforth & Dewdrop wave
 
I hope they don't stop selling at the walmarts near me. There are about 3 that are equal distance from my house, the one in the worst neightborhood has the best pony merch (and the best looking store). I don't like Target because I heard most of their money goes overseas and doesn't stay in the states like Walmart(don't ask me to explain how that works or what it means, my boss tried explaining it and I got dizzy). Plus, things I like to buy are always cheaper at Walmart, even ponies are $0.09 cheaper. Which is kinda important to me. I only just started getting over the weird look of the G4 toys, and I don't know where to find them online.



I did however check Walmart.com and did a search for My Little Pony under toys. Only 18 items and only 4 of those items were G4 :uhoh:
 
The Walmart I work at keep the Pony stock pretty full, we finally just got Wave 2 last week (Curse you MN for being so slow!).

We did put some older Pony stuff on clearance to make room for the new stuff coming in, and we moved it to another section of the toys. But boy did that throw me off a bit the day I came back from a weekend off and the Ponys were 'Gone' along with the Monster High dolls. But they both got moved to another isle, along with Dora, Strawberry shortcake, and those LaLaLoopsy Dolls. which has been dubbed the 'Girl's Preschool' and 'Fashion Doll' Isles according to the scanners. Barbie and Disney Princess take up a huge isle by themselves now. XD

Honestly we can't keep the ponies in stock right now, they fly off of the shelves pretty quickly.

Geez, I hope the Wal-Mart stores here in eastern Kentucky will get more MLP merch and not discontinue them. I don't have a Target and a TRU around here, so I'm pretty much screwed. :(

Of course, there's places like eBay and Amazon. <<;

I'm in South Carolina and, last time I was at Wal-Mart, I decided to look for ponies and they were all gone. I wonder why Wal-Mart is doing this.

In Las Vegas, its hit and miss, some stores have MLP but its very limited, and just odds and ends, and the other ones, there's not even a place for them or a marker, where they might go in the future. Maybe Target got an exclusive deal/promotion for them?

I have not been to wal mart in a while I am gonna have to check it out. I hope they still have some ponies :O I liked buying at wal mart because the only other place they have them here is the super store and I am not a huge fan
 
I was at my local Wal Mart on Tuesday here is a picture of most of the MLP stuff they had. There was a large Pinkie Pie, but for some reason she was stocked on the lowest shelf right under the SSC toys, and didn't make it into the picture.

Just wanted to update, one of my Walmart's which is in the same area as OP. Has totally restocked on MLP after not having much, or anything. XD So maybe they are getting them back in now! I hope.
 
The Wal-Mart stores around my area still have MLP stuff in stock, but they don't have anything new lately. Hopefully they will someday.
 
I was just wondering the same thing about walmart. The two walmarts in my town are so very low on MLP I am concerned. And nowhere else in my town seems to have them. Kmart has apsolutly no place for MLP and either does Shopko.

Luckily I snatched up a Fashion Style Fluttershy that was randomly sitting in one of the walmarts today.
 
My local WMs haven't been very good about pony stock. Most have maybe one or two items, and even the new Supercenter typically has a small selection, even if they may have several of one item. I do recall discussion on another board about how WMs are reorganizing their toy departments, which could account for it in part, and my local Supercenter does seem to get resupplies since I do see different stock turning up. Just not a whole lot. Maybe there's some secret cadre of ninja bronies in my region snagging up new ponies the moment they turn up...

On the bright side though, Target and TRU here have been keeping reasonably decent stock, and I prefer both of them to WM. Even found some wave3 ponies this week!
