Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! Me and my mom made two sort-of impromptu trips to two different thrift stores this weekend. Luck was on my side, I found a few things! :redheart:

First, I found two G3 playsets, one being a Ponyville set! I joke to my mom that I have a 'pony eye'- I can spot MLP pretty easily. The first playset was one of those instances. I was just drawn to it, then I saw the pony! it is one of those wonderful shop playsets! It isn't complete, and it (and everything else) needs some cleaning. But wow. I just find the text to be adorable. You can kind of see the poster from my photo, it says "End of season Sale - 50% off tutus" which is so incredibly adorable. I love G3 playsets! I also really love this one because it has 3 "planes," so to speak; you can play in the front, in the middle (in the playset), and behind the playset. Plus, the playset is on a hinge, so it can be at an angle, or closed up entirely. Lastly, I really enjoy how the store fronts are different, with one entrance being in the front, and one to the side. It is so precious, and in my opinion, very "playable!" Playsets take up a bit of space, but seeing how wonderful this set is, I would love to pick up more shop ones, especially Cotton Candy's shop, as she is one of my favorite G3 ponies :happyhearts::redheart:

As for the Ponyville set, I almost passed it up for the aforementioned fact that playsets take up a fair amount of space. My mom convinced me to get it since it was only $2.50. She said for that price, I could just donate it back if I end up uninterested in it. I thought I would give it a try since its so cute! Plus, if I ever end up at some sort of pony event, I thought I might be able to trade it or something too.. Who knows if that will happen, but for now, the sunny scenery and rainbows are making me smile on this cloudy day! :redheart::rainbow::redheart:

(I just love the environment G3 is placed in. It reminds me a lot of the era it was created in and the other franchises, like 2009 Strawberry Shortcake, that were sort-of around when G3 was. The realism of things like a salon with a human cash register next to a house made of clouds.. It's kind of perfect. I like that about G5 too!)

Speaking of Strawberry Shortcake, a Non-MLP find:
Their hair has something a bit strange going on, and they sadly didn't come with any clothing, but I adore Orange Blossom.

Those were all from the same store. I was going to keep this to myself, until I very briefly went into a (busy!) Goodwill today. I almost didn't look at the toys, but my mom went over to them, and I am glad I followed her. Look who I found! :redheart:

As you can see, I already have a Starlight BAB. I have two Trixies and two Twilight Sparkles too. I cannot resist these adorable creatures!! I thought I could fix Starlight's hair, especially since her bangs are in quite nice condition. She was only $3.06.. I cannot believe it! :Posty2::redheart: Over a year ago, we found a Pinkie Pie BAB at the thrift store, but I passed on her. I don't regret that decision but it was nice to be able to find a different BAB at a thrift store to take home! But it begs the question. How much pony is too much pony?! I have two Puzzlemints, as well. One is NIB and one is out of the box, so they're different in that way. I hope it's okay that I have some doubles. My MLP BAB collection expands, but I am still looking for Muffins and the sparkly version of Twilight Sparkle. I love these guys! :happyhearts::redheart:

Thank you for reading my essay! Here's hoping for more MLP thrift store luck for you and me! :redheart:

There are so many great G3 playsets out there, the shop ones are some of the best! You got some great finds there, especially that Starlight BAB!

I agree! I think it would be super easy to create a lovely diorama type of thing with the shop playsets. If my main bookcase was just a centimeter taller, I think I could line them all flat against the back which would be so lovely. Like a little town for ponies.. Omg!! :ponylove: Thank you!!
What pretty playsets. Gratz!
Thank you! I love the G3 charm in them :happyhearts:

The G3 playsets are so dear to my heart! Congrats on some amazingly cute finds!
I understand why! They're so adorable! Thank you!!

Just a little update! Since the first playset was a bit damaged, I was bold enough to try and lightly repair some of the missing pieces of white paint. I didn't seal it in since it was a bit of a hasty job, and I am not experienced much at all in restoration; essentially, I wanted my work to be removable in the future. Because of this, my white paint is matte, and MLP's white paint is shiny.

I think it looks okay because the most light-catching areas are the ones that had to be painted (so there is less instances of shine, making all of the white look more matte). I was able to remove the crayon on the orange part of the purple shop, but struggled with removing it on the 'glass' part unfortunately! One day I may be even bolder, and attempt to repair the green areas, but that involves color matching.. I very, very rarely work with paint, so I am not quite confident for that yet  Blushie, Silver Rain, and Pinkie Pie are enjoying their new home as permanent shoppers in these stores. And, if I am able to acquire some more G3 pony wear, I think it would be so cute on the shelves inside the boutique store. OMG, I just adore this playset, you guys! :happyhearts::redheart:
