What color's your hair? Have you ever dyed it? Or done anything crazy?

I'm a very dark brunette, nearly black with fading blonde streaks. It's long, I'm trying to grow it to my hips.

I have done blonde streaks, went full blonde once (I looked terrible) black cherry, peacock green courtesy of punky colors, and only once cotton candy pink (I look terrible with pink hair)

My mom used to cut it short and I hated it, I've had it done in corn rows, Chun Li buns, even once let the neighbors convince me to shave it into a Mohawk when I was *ahem* judgmentally disposed.

I used to have purple hair when I was 24. For a few years after that I had red hair first I had cherry red then I went onto a nice copper tone. Now that I'm trying to get a job and look professional I keep my hair it's natural color; brown. Although some grey hairs are creeping up on me. I might have to dye it soon.

When I was younger I liked having long hair, but now I wear it in a short bob.

I dye my hair black. It is very long and fine. I really enjoy having a dark hue.

I am a natural brunette. However, I have experimented with bright red and a plum shade before between the ages of 18 and 22. I've been natural ever since getting a full-time job and needing to look more professional.

As far as cuts, I typically don't do anything too crazy. However I do enjoy going from one extreme to another; I'll let my hair grow and grow and then one day decide to hack it all off into a cute little bob style. Then let it grow and grow again and repeat the process.

My hair was platinum blonde as a kid, but it has since darkened to dark dirty blonde/almost light brown. It seems to be a thing on the Swedish side of my family. It happened to a lot of my relatives including my grandmother and father. I've died it dark brown and highlighted it bright blonde for shows. I've only used henna dyes recently to play with shades of red and purple. Haven't done that since last year, but I'm considering it again because it made my hair so silky soft.

When I was a baby I had strawberry blonde hair when I got older it was a normal dark brown. Now my hair is going more brown/black in color. I did bleach my hair for a bit but I am too allergic to the bleach now to do it.

Mine ' s naturally.... the pic of me in my avatar.

Used to religiously dye it entirely blonde for about 5 years my young adult years.

Tried dying it purple once because my dream hair color is lavender, but it didn't stay at all and the color was uneven x____x

Went with a deep burgundy plum hue fall of 2013. It was a nice change but quite subtle

I sprayed my hair black temporarily at one juncture of my life... that was something else x____x

I think I'm done with colors for the most part

When I was younger I sported a fine green mohawk. Back in the 80s. I coulda joined Jem and the Holograms, but having no musical talent, they told me to buzz off. NOw I have just boring long ol' hippie hair.

I should dye it blue, Ms Leave a Whisper. I should.

Hmmm...

I have dead straight light brown hair that falls to my hips. I've never dyed it, mostly because non-permanent dye washes out too fast and permanent dye requires upkeep... though I have considered trying a dark, somewhat unnatural shade of red, because my boyfriend is one of those men who's a sucker for redheads. I would love to try blue and/or purple streaks, but because I need to look for a job at some point I probably shouldn't go for unnatural colours.

The first time I ever cut my hair was when I was 14, and I went for a chin-length bob with a feathered back. It made me look even younger than I already do, and I'm not fond of having short hair overall. Ever since, the shortest I'm willing to cut it is shoulder-length, and I actually prefer it that length, because having it long takes a lot of shampoo and a long time to brush.... and I'm not big on maintenance. But knowing how long it takes to get back down to my hips and knowing that my boyfriend will be upset with me if I cut it, I end up just leaving it as it is. I have had bangs cut a few times, and I like how that looks, but they get dirty long before the rest of my hair does and they grow back out within 2 weeks... so yeah, more maintenance...

I'm a brunette and have been getting a hi/low for years (blonde highlights, red lowlights mixed into my brown). Once though I did a blue/black dye at home, that ended up being more blue! It was awful, I got more dark black to put over it and let's just say the black was way to intense of a color for me! When I was a teenager I used to use that sun-in spray, I look back and think, why didn't anyone tell me I had orange hair!

Do it! You'd look so cool! And show piccies when you do please? I wanna see:coolpony:

Natural brunette, with some red and blonde mixed through. I absolutely love my hair, it is very strong, very thick, wavy and is what I like best about me. I also love the colour so I have never dyed it.

Right now I have gradient hair color (brown from the top and gradually it changes to blond). I dyed my hair many years totally blond (my real hair colors is greyish blond :p) but decided I needed to change my hair color just for the change :p And I now like my hair this way :)
My hair has been long and short. Now I will let it grow as long as it gets, now my hair almost touches the hips.
When I was little kid like 8-10 years I dyed my hair bright red :D. Not gonna do that again...

Oh my gosh that reminds me of when I was 11 or 12, I saw my mom get a super neat and pretty short 'do. It was styled so it was kinda feathery, and I was "so sold" on needing the exact hair style x.x

Weellll I must have been set up with a different hair dresser, because mine turned out NOTHING LIKE my mom's... no feathers... just... boy-length hair.... *sobs*

So I was stuck with a very ugly hair cut for a long time and often got mistaken for a boy until it grew back out x.x

Just recently lost my mind and cut my own hair though .3.

It's shoulder-length, and I layered/feathered it above my ears myself too x.x

IT FEELS SO RIGHT lol.

I think that nearly a decade of styling hair on custom ponies has paid off... I can hold my breath and cut my kids and my own hair now xDD

No more scary barbers giving me ugly boy hair cuts <_____<;

My hair was golden brown for most of my youth but in the last decade it's darkened to a medium brown. It's very fine, naturaly wavy, and just past my shoulders. I'd grow it longer than that but it just doesn't want to. :( I've never dyed it, mostly because I only want to fuss with it minimally. I'm that way about a lot of things concerning my appearance, lol.

My hair is dirty blond and it's shoulder length. Very straight. I dyed the tips dark red last year, planning to do it this year when it grows longer so it doesn't look weird when it grows out and I have random hair dye in the middle of my hair :p

Mine is dishwater/dirty blonde, naturally & Wavy= frizzy half the time, if I don't tame it.:p 1/2 way down my back.
I used to have it bleach blonde in the last years of Highschool.......and my 20s.......however, after 3 kids, the hair changes (like everything else)and all the light blonde is gone...and now its just easier to get it trimmed when needed!

I have always been blonde, but much lighter blonde. My hair is turning a light brown now. I want some aqua hair lol. Actually, I am thinking about getting it dyed a light brown with blonde highlights. It needs help. I am just not sure I like the idea of chemicals on my head. I am sensitive to these things and do better with natural things.
