Uhhh...?
I wasn't really a fan of the original g4 brushables, so I thought these were a better design, however they should have portioned the head smaller and painted the mouths of them. The design doesn't make me think of orignal Mlp though. After g 3.5 they took a new turn with the whole design, and now the ponies are slimmer, bigger eyes etc. These will never replace the originals, but at least they are pretty cute.
I just hope they go back to a more equine style. Something like G3 is my wish. If their muzzles get any smaller they'll disappear altogether.
Here, here! That's what I've been hoping and wishing for when G5 starts, to go back to a more equine art style like G1 and G3! I can't imagine the future Ponies ending up being muzzle-less! I bet that would cause a lot of outraged and disgusted collectors/fans.

So these are the new G4 molds that will be popping up in stores soon. We actually have these in the Target here already. I love Twilight and Lyra's pose (actually, there is a more dynamic new Twilight pose out there and that's the one I love) but I don't like the heads on any of them. They seem much too big and round. We finally get new poses and they mess up the heads? Sheesh. Also, Rarity's new pose. . . .just no. I know ponies in the show do that, but in a toy it just looks so wrong.
I bought the Fluttershy and Celestia set because it came with cute accessories, but unpackaging it I had to stop and marvel at how alien Fluttershy looked. The legs seem like noodles to me, the wings on Celestia are bigger than her body, and the over all feel of them is just...off. I'm not sure if they were trying to give them some kind of anime spin or make them a closer match to the Equestia Girls, but whatever it is, sitting up there with the rest of my collection, they just look strange.
Except for some of the newer ones. I've heard people say that past gens are ugly because they look more like real horses. I have things to say about such a baffling statement and I guarantee they aren't kid friendly... or nice.
I really dislike them but I'm looking at the positive side of things. I won't be spending money on these new molds and I can focus on my other collections.
I am so temped to try a transplant. I have a rarity g4.5 I got for the glasses and I happen to have a g4 brushable rarity I wonder what would happen if I swapped the heads and bodies? its just a idea.
Still don't like the modes but the extra thing they have are nice the clothing and extra they come with are really niece to have.
I will give the models one thing the closes mouths are easier to "like" then the open mouth.
I do still want one of the clear purses and the rollers that come with that pinkie pie twisty hair one. I mostly want the extra.
My little 1 year old niece loves it when I give her the ponies after I get the extra. She is young and does not know the horror of the model.
Oh to be young and Innocent again.
I know there should beYes. head transplants please! (why isn't there an evil pony smiley, I am disappointed.)
Can't wait to see.So I kinda did go through with a head swap. A normal G4 Rarity head on A G4.5 body and a G4.5 head on a normal G4 body. I also switch out the tails.
The patients are resting after surgery and I did not cut nor glue my hands for once.
I hope to reveal them tomorrow. I had to do some tiny mods and had to glue stuff back together so I will show them tomorrow,
