I'm practically in tears, I am so greatful to Alex, my best friend. She really went out of her way for me, and I really appreciate her taking me into consideration at the yard sales she goes to. I can't believe he was only fifty cents. I'm so happy ^_^

Nope...no bride yet, but now I think I will be on the look-out for her to go along with him.

Yeah, I owe my friend bigtime...I was considering taking her to see a movie or something, but it almost doesn't seem enough. Maybe that's just me though cuz ponies mean something different to her then to me, but even her fiance got a kick from getting the pony. He was asking (and it was so cute)"we did good, right??" and that kinda thing. I told them they did just awesome to me, and if they didn't find another pony at thrift sales the whole summer, this pony would be enough. I'm still so thrilled!

Thanks Sayuri-chan...I feel really lucky to be honest with you to have a friend like Alex. She never eyerolls me when I get all excited showing her my new ponies and stuff like that.

Sam, your idea is a good one, but to be honest, the girly isn't much of a collector, but she is a crafty goddess. However, she does really like pirate stuff and El dia de los muertos, so maybe I'll get her something along those lines if she doesn't want to go to the movies.
 
oh, that is so lovely! My best friend looks out for ponies for me, she hasn't found any yet, but she did give me an annual for Valentine's Day :)

Tux has been on my wishlist for some time now and just a few days ago I purchased him of ebay. So now he is on his way to Norway to join Satin N' Lace :D :D
 
I was drooling over a Tux on ebay a few days ago, but I knew I would never be able to afford him. The pony fairies were looking out for me the day Alex and her fiance went thift saling.
 
Yes I think I have seen 2 auctions for Tux lately, they always seem to go pretty high ...

I have been waiting for him to show up for a reasonable amount and I guess got lucky, I bin'ed mine for a good price.

Anyway, good luck hunting down more great price ponies on the yard sales :eek:k:
 
That's crazy, 50 cents for Tux N Tails, you are never going to be that, plus he looks like he is in amazing condition! Very very lucky, i have a mint one which i got for $30 bucks =\ Oh well lol congrats on him and congrats on having such an awesome friend to pick that up for you!
 
Thanks very much! I actually have him right by my computer now (along with Vanilla Treat I just got), cuz I just can't let him outta my sight lol. I really hope that I'll have good luck this year at thrift sales, hopefully such a great find by my friend is a good garage saling omen!
