What is the strangest way you've ever received a pony?

I have gotten ponies in cereal boxes, and by far the worst one was in a frozen meal box that was all torn up and just pretty much 99% tape.

I was maybe five or six years old when I was playing outside and found baby Nibbles in a puddle of mud. It was springtime so I was playing in mud and suddenly came accross Nibbles.

She was dirty, her hair chopped off, her eye paints and symbols almost completely rubbed off and she had several red sharpie marks around her body. She looked like she had been in the bottom of the mud pool a looong time. She looked rough, but she became my favorite toy and now over 20 years later I still have her. She's kinda like my lucky charm, I sometimes take her with me and just keep her inside my purse for good luck. Crazy right? I've always thought maybe it was destiny that I found her

I'm kinda boring, I can't think of any strange way I've found a pony. But this thread is really entertaining.

All these stories about finding ponies buried alive make me wanna invest in a shovel and metal detector.
