What is your favorite pony and why?

Tell me what's your favorite pony and explain. I'm also gonna tell you :eek:k:

If you are a G3 fan, you are sure to know the name Minty, because she is probably the funniest pony the world has ever seen. Although she isn't in the show, nobody will forget her too soon. Minty certainly looks like a star! She is cute, funny and popular, with friendly purple eyes and a funny laugh. She has a strong personality. All in all, I admire Minty, not only because she is cute and funny, but also because she totally represents me!
 
I have many faves...

G1)

from a TV show stand point:
1) Gusty - She's **** hilarious... who walks around and randomly says "my horn itches" LOL
2) Paradise - She's so sarcastic, it just makes me laugh
3) Fizzy - Shes so darn happy all the time! can't help but smile around her lol

from the actual toy line:
1) SS Gusty
2)Fizzy
3) Baby Tic Tac Toe

G3)

from the show/movies:
Not really sure i like anyone in particular... they all seemed really dumbed down, and I was very disappointed by the scripts and themes in the show.

Toy line:
1) Kimono
2) Alphabittle
3)Pinwheel (think thats her name? orange pony from the easter bucket)
 
G1 Glory. :) She was given to me by the daughter of a friend of the family, and I'd never seen a pony in that pose before. I fell instantly in love. I have a Glory collection, and am slowly making headway in collecting international variants.

I'm also quite partial to Milky Way and Nightglider, because I love astronomy. Heck, ANY celestial-themed pony will do, lol!
 
I keep changing. Tex (army)... no... Waterfire... no... Gypsy... Baby Moonsong! NO....Star Catcher...

BUt the one pony who always appeals to me, no matter who the fave of the moment is, is MoonDancer. :) Love her colors.
With the older ponies, I go by their looks, because I never saw the cartoons enough to get a feel for their personalities.

But of the HUB ponies, having laughed my way through all the episodes, my fave, even though I toaadally dislike the color pink, is Pinkie Pie. She's so much fun and so goofy!
 
Sky Rocket :) Why? I had a lot of ponies but didn't have anyone in Sky Rocket's Pose. Finally got her and was thrilled!
 
I always thought mimic was my fave until I laid my hands on tic tac toe.

I really don't remember the cartoons all to well, though I used to watch them every morning before school!

from my childhood memories, shady is the one that stands out the best. when I started my collection all over again, she was the first one I recognized and purchased :)
 
G1 flutter Rosedust!

She is beautiful and fancy, such gorgeous everything. Everything about her screams beauty, you know it..She is just too lovely for words.
 
I know from childhood that Applejack was quite cherished, then probably Tex, he's so handsome! I know I watched the movie as a kid, but I've never see the TV shows of any generations so I can't pick a favorite based on a show. I'll have to watch the movie again someday, if I can find a copy, maybe the video store has one!

Yeah I loved the flutters from the movie, Rosedust especially cause she's the queen!

Favorite G1 is Locket though since she was my first.


But Fluttershy has to be the one who is the most like me. Soft spoken, animal loving and her symbol of butterflies is something you'll also find me wearing all the time.

Firefly since she was my first pony and revived her in an interesting way. I'm also partial to Goldilocks, Glory and Parasol.

G3
Rainbow Dash cause she reminds me of the G1 rainbow ponies. Minty because when I saw her in the live action show she was the best character. Secret Wish because she reminds me of the G1 sparkle poines.
 
Applejack is my all-time fave. I have a horde of her, her merch and variants. I love her because her colors appeal to me, and I love apples. Also her personality (in both the G1 and HUB shows) reminds me of me when I was younger. (Other than the fact that I'm not southern, lol.) She's like the girl next door that isn't afraid of some hard work.

But I have others that I adore. Galaxy, Tic Tac Toe, the original Cotton Candy (she was the very first pony I ever got), Sugarberry, Princess Tiffany...they were all childhood ponies. In the G3 line I like Cinnamon Breeze, Applejack, Kiwi Tart, and Denim Blue.
 
Mine is Snuzzle. She is such a perfectly understated pony. Just classic. Also, my favorite color is grey <3
 
Can't choose just one. My favorites are:

Applejack, Munchy, Princess Tiffany, Mommy and Baby Meadowsweet, and Merry Treat and Baby Stockings. I just love how they all look. The last two also bring back fond memories for me.

Because she was my favorite when I was little... she was always the "hero" in my games.
 
hmmm, my faves from the programme are;
fizzy

gusty
(i just bought some dvds of the old series for my daughter and i nearly remebered the episodes word for word, i watched them like ten times a day when i was small!)

my favorite toys;
my childhood ones, windwhistler, shady, loads of others but i always remember my very favorite was the birthday pony, she went everywhere with me. It was seeing her again that prompted me to start collecting!!

Because they are cute and pretty.
 
G1 Cotton Candy. She was the first pony I ever got and I can still vaguely remember my mom giving her to me and telling me that she was a "My Little Pony."

:hugegrin:The G1 movie is on Youtube. and you can find most of the tv episodes on there too.

My favourites usually vary most of the time..since there are so many ponies. I try to treat everything equally.:pupruns:
 
It's hard to pick one favorite but I have many that I adore for various reasons :)

I love Star Catcher! She's so sweet and graceful in Dancing in the Clouds and I love the fabric wing version of her. I also really like Starsong based on her colouring since I haven't seen any videos of her.

Toola Roola is my favorite earth pony because she's arty. I prefer her light pink with rainbow hair and paintbrush cutie mark.

Finally, after watching a few eps of Friendship is Magic I loooooooooooooove Fluttershy! She's just so sweet :)
 
My favorite is Sparkle Sky Rocket. She was my fav from childhood. Though I called her 'jellyfish' cause I thought her mark was a jelly, not a rocket. :bonk:
I hid her in a barbie case when my mother sold my ponies in a garage sale. She is the only pony I still have from my childhood.
