i was about to write them up, but then eh. for me, i count them as g3s.... so :p

I care, but technically they actually are G3. My problem with calling them G3.5 would be definition. Some people seem to include 2008 and 2009 as G3.5 while others only include 2009 as G3.5 and count 2008 as G3.0. I've just been calling them G3A, G3B, and G3C, respectively 2003-2007, 2008, and 2009. In my mind, they're each so different, I can't group them together. Most but not all characters and their histories and voices were changed, the animation and toys and their manufacturing methods changed, and the same can be said of the difference between G3 and G4, except G4 was obviously more successful. In my opinion, G3A to B was a downgrade, B to C was a bigger downgrade, C to G4 was an upgrade. For the company, I think G4 was an upgrade from all generations and sub-generations, but considering only my personal preference with regard to the toys and animation, I can't convince myself that G4 was an upgrade from G3A, but was a clear upgrade from both B and C.

I'm a G3 girl, definitely! Though I do like blind bag G4s...

I really ♥ the G3s!! They were soooo Cute. I'm just sad Hasbo had to Stop Making them. My Next Choce is G1s. They Are Cute too.

I'm a G1 Junkie, but Then I have just as many G3s and nearly every G4 that has been released.... But I will always prefer a G1 to anything else!

G1 is my main fancy - although I was born a decade or so late. They're wholesome and their round bottoms are adorable! Plus, unlike G4s, they are a reasonable toy size. If only G4's werent so tiny, and their Fashion/dressup G4s werent so big, I'd find them more enjoyable.

Other than that I do like a little bit of everything. G3 was the generation I was old enough to experience, I even remember wanting the April Birthstone G3 when I was 7 or 8. Never got my first MLP until I was 17 though! lol

On another note, I don't really understand the poor interest in G2s... was it that they were too tall and model like? They're surely not an ugly design or anything!

I did at long last finally come to love G2, but I think my original objection was that they seemed too much like the other equine toys that were out on the market at the time. They didn't seem to have that special pony feel to them when I looked at them. Maybe they seemed too posh to want to play and have fun. "My" ponies always loved to go on adventures, not just stay safe on manicured grounds (or in a castle, although a castle now and again was exciting). That's how I felt when I was little. Now that I've seen so many versions of My Little Pony, I feel less confined by the shape of their bodies and more liberated to help them look their best relative to themselves, and I think anypony can go on adventures, and they surely are far more than tolerant of each other's differences, and given the chance, would make life-long friends with each other easily.

I was born into a G3 fashion. I really never saw the other generations, but when I saw my first G2, I immediately fell in love with them. They're so pretty, I love their slender bodies, but they're not too slender to completely resemble a horse like the dream beauties.
I like G2 the bestie-best! :)
