What`s the weirdest thing about your herd

That I actually never ever got to play with ponies. I'm just to old and they weren't around in East Germany, so I discovered with my kids together all the toys I could never have back then.
My husband thinks this is very weird.

No, it's so not. My husband is disturbed when I get a new pony sometimes because he thinks it's childish. But, I don't think adults can't find joy in MLP too.

Strangest thing about my collection is probably the number of orphan G1 twins I have. I've slowly been trying to reunite them with siblings but, still not completely there yet. I also have one daddy pony all alone too.

You`re NEVER too old to play with your ponies....never.

I still play with my ponies :3

Weirdest thing? Hmm. . .

Well I can say that none of my ponies are displayed in the typical pony collection fashion (all lined up divided by either character or year). They're scattered all around the room in color-coordinated displays with other toys/nicknacks of similar hue.

Not really weird, but not the norm compared to most collections.

I have a couple orphan twins, too! I've gotten them at garage sales and the like. Still on the lookout for a Tootsie for my Bootsie.

I think the strangest thing about my collection is that I have UK Applejack and Italian male Applejack, but not regular Applejack (yet)! I wanted regular Applejack, but I couldn't find one at a good price! I kept finding variants instead!

I eventually found AJ in a $10 lot on eBay, but she hasn't arrived yet.

I don't have many UK baby sister's or brother's counterpart's to my Us family. I want to correct that someday but not anytime soon. Two of my most expensive or rare/sought after ponies were gifts. All of my herd is female vs's the handful of boy ponies I have. I never thought as female ponies to be males or vice versa. I don't mind being called weird I know I am. lol

The only complete sets I have are of baby ponies. The sparkle babies and the bedtime newborns. My fiance tells me I have too many baby ponies and that I need more adult ones. The babies are just too cute to say no!

Male Applejack? I wanna see!!!

Monster High dolls live in harmony with G1/G3/G4 ponies.

Love it!

My Ponies are shacked up with various superheros and manga toys. My friends think it's an odd mix, but I know that secretly, Batman digs Ponies.

Funny, Ponies are the really only 'girly' hobby I have. Gads, but I love them though.

cool pony

personally i donlt think of my little ponies as gender specific.

on I love hte 80's one fo the comedians said My Little Ony was my Girly and care Bears was masculine.

but i like care bears and my little pony.

Melissa

Same here. I could never fathom why they want to make particular items boy or girl exclusive, except for merchandising maybe. I remember my son as a wee lad would refuse to go down the dreaded Pink Toy Isle. For fear of cooties, I dunno. I never taught him that dollies were for girls, trucks for boys, but he learned it via school and osmosis I guess.

Now he's 19, loves G4s, zombies and guns. Go figure!

Oh Hotwheels! I used to love those. I only ever had two Barbies when I was little, but I had loads of hotwheels and matchbox cars (they're still in my cupboard!). I had one that looked like a crocodile. To me at the time, it didn't get any better than that. "Vrmmm vrmmm! Chomp chomp!" You know...
A close second was a metal Thomas the Tank Engine :D
Apparently when I was little, I didn't notice that any of these things were meant to be gender specific... well, except Barbie.

Also, who says Barbies and cars don't mix? I'm sure I used to see ads for a Barbie convertible when I was small.

My little brother had and still does have billions of Hotwheels cars & billions of Thomas the Tank Engine trains. I did take his Hotwheels Limousine car though as it was black with multi-coloured glitter! I just had to have it :D Sits amongst my ponies now.

So I guess that is a weird thing in my pony collection. My other weird thing atm is that Lollipop is surrounded by baby wingers & there are still more on their way :D

LOL Why did a Hotwheels limousine have multi coloured glitter on it?
