Okay so I get the grand idea to weed wack a small area of the back yard that was getting a bit out of control. So, I put my jeans on, shoes and a short sleeve shirt and head out with R2 running behind me saying, "I'll do it, I'll do it." Yea well I had asked him to do it for like 3 days. Done with that. So, I start up the weed wacker and everything is going fine. Then all of the sudden my skin feels like it is on fire. I look down and any skin exposed has this horrid rash. I start screaming and jumping around. R2 says run in and take a shower. My face was on fire too. I made the mistake of scratching it which made it burn worse and I spread that to my back which looked like something out of a Freddie movie. R2 comes running in, "I am burning too and jumps in the shower." We took benadryl and coated our rashy areas in cortizone cream. What in the world happened? I mean this was pretty bad and it caused the same rash and same symptoms on us both. R2 said he really appreciated me making his afternoon so nice. Well, gee wiz how was I supposed to know War of the Worlds was going to take place in my backyard. I just wanted to get that chore behind me. We have weed wacked out there before. I am in shock and feel super freaked out. I have had poison ivy before and this just isn't like that. Poison ivy cause me a dark red rash that itched like crazy and spread all over me. This did not do that. If it had been poison ivy it would have spread with the shower and that didn't happen. This was itchy but it burned. It is getting better slowly.
I am telling you right now I am not going out there again for a looooooooong time and I am worried about Yuki getting all rashy too. He can't get to that area but what if its in the air? This is ridiculous. I felt like I jumped into an asp nest of 30,000.00 asps.
