Where do you store your ponies' accessories?

I usually keep most of my ponies undressed until I play with them and keep all there things in a pretty cluttered drawer.

It's not really the most sane storage idea and I may resort to keeping all of the ponies accessorized while I display them, but until that day, I'll keep seeking a more creative idea to store stuff. The problem I'm sure most of us run into is things like our pony furniture, toys and things that just don't connect to the pony and are more of an eyesore on the display shelf.

These thoughts have had me curious about where all of you great pony collectors keep all the little ponies' wear and accessories.

So...?
Care to share what you do with this stuff?

I usually just don't keep my accessories. I only have like 2 - 3 G1 hats that I keep for photo shoots, and other than that................... um.......... I think I have a G4 peacock pet? lol, so everything just sits in front of the ponies.

I keep them in a ziploc bag. I don't have that many accessories, so I know what goes to who. I have a separate bag for my Petite Pony accessories.

Oh. My. Goodness. In my bedroom is a Japenese screen. Behind this screen is a stack of three or so TUBS that have all G1 pony accessories, smaller buildings, and other assorted randomness in them. I don't even try to display any of these because there is no room in our little two-bed apartment. And my husband's cat Henry has a Tail of Doom that is incredibly apt at dumping things off book shelves, table tops, and any other surface one might like to display small items on. So, for the moment, all these items are just in a chaos of Rubbermaids. Some day...

In ziploc baggies that are in a pile. I really need to come up with a more organized system.

I was never an accessory fan, even as a kid. The only accessories I really like are the G3 winter ponies' accessories, which I keep in a small basket in a cabinet. Most of the accessories I had as a kid are in that basket as well; I lost some when I was little. Otherwise I'll buy loose ponies without accessories, or if I debox an MIB pony, I'll leave the accessories in the box and put the boxes in tubs in the attic.

I like accessories if they have a purpose like for dance N prance ponies or big brother hats ect. I just keep mine in a small box I kinda layered it with a G3 section and a G1 section. I don't have alot of accessories. I do admit I wish I had different G1 sets though. :/

I have mine on display with the pony - anything like hats and bandanas they wear brushes and stickers are sat in front of them.

If you prefer to keep them in storage I saw somebody had a little plastic set of drawers they kept everything in with the little drawers labelled it looked like something you'd keep sewing supplies in?

My pony brushes, combs, barrettes and other hair styling supplies are in a darling G3 jewelry box I picked up from a local charity shop. Other accessories such as clothes, animal friends, etc are in ziplock baggies.

In a box in the back of my closet.

I'm with Angel_Foil on this, the only accessories I really like are the G3 Winter ponies'... And even then, I don't really go through the trouble of looking for them if they don't come with the ponies (no accessories = cheaper ponies). Though I do like to receive accessories as little extras, in swaps and the like. :satisfied:

I adore accessories! I played with those far more then the actual ponies as a child. I have a plastic tote for each year, and accessories inside are in bags. One per pony, large bag holding acc for every pony of a particular set. When I have a big enough pony room to have the collection on display accessories will be displayed with the ponies, for now though this works.

I put mine in ziplock baggies and keep em in g1 lunchboxes. I mean, the lunchboxes are just sitting there anyway.. might as well make em useful!

That's what I do too!

Everything gets sorted out individually and bagged. Stickers go in a binder I have that keeps track of my collection along with other pony info. I do keep the G1 boys' hats and things with them on the shelf though. Same thing with baby sea ponies and their floats. My G1 Satin n' Lace is about the only one in her clothes. Some of the babies wear their bibs. For some reason I have Baby Glory in her crib with a baby bottle and everything too though. I think that's because I have a Glory mirror along with an adult version so they're sort of special in the display. I try to keep ribbons tied on the ponies too.

If it's later generations I keep accessories in the package that they came in and the package itself goes in a box. Sometimes I will keep barrettes or crowns or something on the pony itself though.

With the risk of being attacked by flying fakies...

I hate accessories and every time I get any with a pony I just throw them into a box where I store all the accessories for MLP's. As much as I dislike accessories I can't bring myself to sell them though so there they are... in their pink box with a MLP logo on it taped shut.... out of sight, out of mind XD

Edit to say: There are one type of accessories I do like though and that's the floats/seashells for the sea ponies. But those are displayed with the seapony they belong to :)

I display the accessories on the ponies if they can wear them. Bandanas, damsel hat, etc. Brushes combs and all the other little bits are in individual bags labeled with the pony name and stored in totes. It's the only way I can keep track of everything.

in a handy container that sits next to my ball jointed doll accessory container (the two often sharing things- heck some of my BJDs are so small they can actually sit on ponies

I put the teacups to g4 ponies (like the crystal empire fluttershy) in tic tac jars (the pot will not fit just the cups)

I've got a little bag. It's pretty much full now, though, so I'll have to think of a new set up soon.

No fakies coming at you. I love accessory haters too! They trade me their unwanted accessories for my extra ponies so it's win-win!

Another Ziploc bag camper here! I label the bags with Sharpie so I remember what the heck is in there...especially G4 accessories start to look the same after a while...
