Where you get the cheapest retail priced ponies...

Howdy all. Where do you find the cheapest prices for ponies at retail stores (and by retail I do mean the big ones like Walmart, Target, Costco, etc...) and not small discount or thrift stores. Obviously it's more of the G4 ponies.
For anybody that lives in the Midwest, there is a store named Farm and Fleet, basically your average hardware store. I went on a visit there. Every Christmas they have 'Toyland'. Big aisles just full of toys. So I went there, and it was ponies discount galore.

Compared to the Walmart that is just around the corner from Farm and Fleet, they had a shelf stocked full of the playful ponies with ALL Mane Six. And they were considerably .51 cents cheaper than Walmart... for $4.49.

Well, so my point is, where have you found the cheapest ponies at retail stores?
I am certainly taking my pony purchasing here!

walmart and target seem to have different ponies. I don't go to target often so I get them from walmart but they are like $6 for the singles and $8 for those 3 pack bling bag sets.

Yes! Walmart is $1.97, while Target ranges from $2.50-$3ish. Toys 'R' Us is most expensive at $3.96.

Walmart also has the best prices on most other G4 items... Haven't found anywhere cheaper.
 
I went to check out my local K-Mart (which I did just for ponies). I have never seen their toy aisle, so once I walked all over the store to find it, they had the ponies that aren't on the show. Diamond Rose, Snowcatcher, Feathermay, Sunny Rays, other characters not on the show... for $7.99. Not sure why, maybe they are 'special'? However there was a Sunny Rays at Walmart for $5.00...

So I did go to Farm and Fleet and I bought a Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. Worth it!

Yeah Walmart is pretty cheap with $1.97! Glad I found a store that has them for $1.89!

Feathermay and Snowcatcher are a bit older. I know that some of the figures in that wave you could actually get with bangs! But only the really early ones. But $8 for a playful pony is really high. I've seen them go for $9 at drug stores, but that's because they don't move a lot of toys.
