Where's My Mommy? Swap - FEEDBACK LEFT! THANK YOU, ALL!

I think I picked the hardest FBR in the history of FBR's! :p It's giving me more trouble than any white custom I've done. But the paint job is almost finished, and I've got my hair. Just need to plug away and get 'er done! :)

Got my hair on Tuesday and stayed up till dawn rehairing most of the pony (it really wasn't that long, I started about 2:30 am and finished about 4:30am) Finishing up the hair tonight and then I can get started on painting! eeep! That's always the most nerve-racking, moreover since I don't own the baby I picked it's gonna be doubly stressful! :spiders_5t:

Still waiting on the bait to set. Once that's done, it should be pretty easy to get her finished up. :)

Um... yeah... my bait and the dye I was working with ****** me off, so now she's sitting on the top shelf of my pony shelves for now. I'll have to get some paint and do a FBR this weekend -.-; Thank goodness for 4 day weekends. Meanwhile the hair is sitting nearby, waiting for me.

Done! Thanks to a really boring cricket match on TV, I was able to finish last night. :)

I got the symbols/eyes painted this evening and put in the tail. However, I broke my rehair needle AND ran out of the color I need for her mane. I plan to place a hair order tomorrow and will order some more needles while I'm at it. Does anyone know what size needle I need to order from Dollyhair that is the correct size for MLP customs? If not, I'll see if Pop at the Arena can make me a few. I took my progress pictures tonight since its unlikely I'll get anything done before the check-in date on Saturday. I'll send them along tomorrow once I get them off my camera.

ETA: WIP photo has been sent!

Sorry, guys. I took an impromptu camping trip for the weekend. No cell service in the stix, so I couldn't post. Then I had custom disaster (not this swap) when I got home and spent all day yesterday repairing.

Check-in day is fast approaching! Are you ready? ;)

Shedding season and wet paint don't mix well :p I've had to start over, but I think I've got it all fixed now! Just need to put finishing touches on the body, put in her hair, and she'll be all set.

No, if you have sent me a photo of a finished custom, then all you need to do is wait for your partner's address.

If you photo updated me and were not done at the time, then I'll need to see another photo of your progress.

If you've not photo updated me yet, then your progress pic is due on Saturday.

Mine's coming along but not quite done. I have all the materials & am waiting on paint to dry to start on the hair. Shouldn't be a problem having it ready by Saturday (barring some unforeseen disaster).

I sent my pics to you, skig. I'm all finished! :)

I'm SO close to being finished! I got the hair in, the eye's are done (though I think the dye is soaking into the whites so I'm gonna give her few more days and redo the white.) and her symbols are painted!

Except, well in my haste I painted one of the symbols backwards (yes I just narrowed down the pony I picked to a G1)....le sigh! And it was so perfect too! But I'll have to take it off and redo it as well. Good thing I learned early to always keep extra of the paint just in case. I'm sending in my piccies here too.

Sent my update, I should be done this weekend.

It's check-in day! If you have not already sent me a progress photo, please do so by Tuesday. If after Tuesday you still have not checked in with me in some capacity, you may receive neutral feedback for the swap. You will not receive your partner's address until I have seen a photo of your progress!

I have a crappin' fitting for my dress for my sister-in-law's wedding this morning. After I'm done there, addresses will start coming to your inboxes. I want to send as many as I can at one time since the database takes forever to open.
