I was just looking at my first edition Sunny Daze and she looks yellowish, especially compared to other white G3s :( . She hasn't been in the light much either.

Anyone else noticing this?

I wondered about that too. I think she just wasn't as white as some of the others naturally.

re:

This is why white ponies annoy me there's too many problems with them lol.

How about the brand new ponies you buy that are grey. :?

re

mine hasn't turned yellowish yet. do you expose them to the sun or something?

Mm, I think my Stawberry Swirl's body is a slightly darker shade than her head, but that's all I've noticed with my white G3s (so far anyway).

white ponies

HMM, i hadn't noticed anythng with my lot.
Must check when I get home.

The original Sunny Daze is naturally an eggshell like white color. She's never been as white as any of my other white ponies, always looked like an off white (and yellish in comparision to the others). It's perfectly normal, it's the way she was manufactured. :)

I've got a couple of ponies who aren't as white as the others but I don't think they're getting worse. I heard of someone who had Sweet September and her body went really dark but her head stayed white (or something very similar to that!) but I've had no trouble.

My Sunny Daze 1 is also a creamy white colour, and as others have said, I'm pretty sure she was made that way. My Baby Goody Gumdrop is also a bit yellow, but that might be how he/she was made, considering her plastic is sparkly.

I have two Sunny Daze 1s, and one is a little more white than the other. I think it's just a slight, unimportant difference in her color, kind of like what happened with a lot of earlier G1s.

Does this happen if you leave them in the box as well? Just wondering.

That usually doesn't bother me - strangely sine I'm a mint collector.

I haven't noticed mine going yellow though. She is packed in plastic bag for safe keeping till' I move though so I don't know if that helps keeping them from going yellow.

Hmm... Mine is still pretty white. Was yours in sunlight, or a highly lit room.

Thanks for all your comments guys :D .

She has been in a somewhat light room recently, but not direct sunlight. I'll be keeping her in the dark from now on!

I have a MIB one bought at the same time and it is definitely a bit paler in colour.

Oh well, nothing to be done now, I hope she just ages gracefully.

I realized one thing about ponies since the G2s is that the white ponies are no good kept packed away, because they still change colour! My Silver Swirl was locked in the cupboard for a year and she came out yellowish :/ But she became better when she came out into the open! I think what the white ponies need is VENTILATION! Keep them somewhere well ventilated and free from dust. That should keep them good. I like my G3s, at least they do not discolour like my G2s do. My G2 Wingsong is now grey than purple. Makes me SO SAD!
