Who are your favourite ponies?

Hi, everyone! I've been going through my favourite ponies, and asking myself why I like them more than others. I'm a G3 collector but there are some G1 ponies I love as well.

I'm going to start with self-indulgently posting lots of photos:

I think it becomes quite clear after a while: I just adore ponies in pastel pinks and purples! :LOL: I don't often find myself drawn to ponies in garish oranges and reds.

Wow I like the ringlets on the last group. I collected the G1 ponies when I was 11 years old in 1984 (I just turned 11 in December of 1983) and I had all the main (mane) ones and a few extras, I can't even remember all of them. I also had the stable and carrying case which I remember loving and enjoying, but I have no idea what became of my ponies except for Butterscotch. I don't know why I kept her and not the others, but she's a favorite. I also love Snuzzle and Bluebelle. I'd have to look through lots of photos to find all of my favorites but they will all probably be part of the G1 collection because I feel special about childhood toys. I just wish I'd saved more than I did.

My favorites... gosh I have so many how about five from each gen?

G1: Merry Treats, Minty, Moonstone, Confetti, Wigwam

G2: Prince Firefly, Princess Silver Rain, Prince Blue Dream, Clever Clover, Miss Painter

G3: Shenanigans, Port-O-Bella, Winter Snow, Candy Apple, Candy Cane

G4 (brushables): Snowcatcher, Cherry Berry, Trixie, Lyra, Plumsweet

No pics as my computer is out of commission for a while; I'm borrowing one at the moment.

And Wistery, I'm the opposite; I prefer the bright colors.

Good question! I'm very partial to Lemon Treats. She's just too cute! I always paired her with Apple Daddy Delight. I also like Star Glow and Bright Glow. Streaky is pretty too. For the babies, Sparkle Baby Gusty and Sparkle Baby Firefly, and all of the Bedtime Newborns.

My favorite G1s are Twilight, Nightlight, Raindrop and German Starshine along with Tickles and Flutterbye, but most of them are beautiful to me. I also keep a lot of different Bowties, my little one just loves her especially in collector pose.
The first G3 I got was Dessert Rose and I still like her most.
My star of the FIM ponies is Fluttershy.

G1: Blubelle above all. But, I love all the CP ponies, and Medley, Firefly, Gusty, Gypsy....um...yeah it goes on, so I'll stop here. lol

G2: Wednesday afternoon bride and Waterlily

G3: Autumn Skye, Kiwi Tart, Pumpkin Tart, Lavender Could (I think that's her name)

G3.5: Star Song, Afro PP, Mom Scoot-Song

G4: Star Swirl, Rainbow Flash, Does Black Tie Pinkie count? I love her edgy-ness. lol

My favorites change ALL THE TIME, it's nigh impossible for me to keep track. But I'll try anyway!

DJ PON-3!!!! I don't have her though; I'm hoping I'll have enough money eventually to get the SDCC exclusive for this year.

A close second is Luna, though. I have like, three versions of her. XD

I love my little pony too...

Grandmas and grandpa gave me a peek a boo baby nodds pony. I still have her.
My mom and dad got me sky flyer she is my favourite pony.

My best friend Nadine ordered Tux N Tail pony, and I was going to order the so soft bride pony. However I never did. I so regret that choice.

My first sea pony was baby surf rider. Sadly I lost her over time. I so miss her. It was the first pony Santa gave me when I was little.

Both my best friend and I went in the store and each bought a set of twins..
I bought Teeny Sniffles and Snookums. My friend bought Bootsie and Tootsie. I lost mine over time.

I love all the Clyde's dale ponies. Over time thanks to the nice people from the mlptp and the arena they both help me complete my major goal. To get all the us Clydesdale ponies, even all 6 mountain boys. Thank you friend for selling and trading. You are all the best.

I only collect G1s so I don't really know about the other generations but my favorites are : Gypsy (she has always been my absolute favorite), Gusty, Twilight, Cloud Dreamer, Baby Starbow and Firefly (the last two were my very first ponies). There is so many more; it is hard not to love them all!
