I just bought my tickets for the weekend (yay!) I've only just gotten into collecting (after finding my childhood ponies in the loft!) and i've only been on all the different boards for a few months so I don't know many people here.

I thought it'd be nice for me and maybe other newbies who are going to the con alone to get an idea who was going and 'meet' each other before hand:)

so, who else is going?

I need to sort it out (i have somehow mixed part of collection with sales - not a good idea), i was planning to go up by coach... but it seems national express does not go to west bromich. Looks like we are train hopping hehe =D

P.S. your so lucky you have your originals... i wish i had mine so bad.

i am train and bus hopping and i only live just outside of birmingham! unfortunately in a small town with terrible public transport! i need to figure out the best way to get to west brom, but that can be sorted closer to the date:)

i'm lucky my parents didn't sneak my collection to the charity shop when i was away at uni;) i find it so hard to get rid of anything, and old toys were just as hard to get rid of lol which is why most ended up in the loft!

I'll be going hopefully, although not sure yet if it'll be both days or just one :)
 
Haha wererat, i think we will make use of the metro too.
Yeah xD mine all went to a charity bar napper who i let go at a jumble sale =[
 
I'll be there as well for both days! I'm selling and displaying again this year. A penpal of mine is coming along too and sharing the stall. You're more than welcome to come and say hello.

Everybody is really friendly so although I know it can be daunting, you don't need to worry about being on your own.
 
i feel much better about coming alone now:) i'd rather come alone than drag a friend who isn't into ponies because then i'd be worried they were bored. this way i don't have to worry about it and i can concentrate on the good stuff!:)

Im hoping to go, not purchased my tickets yet id be driving lol so will take a few hours to get there i think but i hope its all clear and not too complicated to find hehehe
 
HeavyHooves is making.selling them, i have one being made by her, she is ponyfeathers on the pony convention, i think they look pretty cool =D
 
I'll be there this year with the fiance! Will be having a stall as well (going to be a bargain one so do come and check me out!!! Lol sorry for the little plug;))

This will be my third convention, and I'm super excited!

Will be only attending the main day, but going to the Friday night evening meal at Pizza Hut!!

Will be a bit of a long drive, but 100% worth it! Can't wait to see everyone!xx
