So, we were near a thrift store today. (Ok.. not super near.. but you know how it is..) On the way in, I saw a Tara Toy fakie pony case. You know the one.. plastic over cardboard, looks like a barn? It was in the showcase area and I couldn't get to it. They wanted $6.99.. for a fakie case.. No one was near for me to ask to see it, so I went to the toy section instead. Figured I'd check it later. Well.. back in the toy section I came across Monster High dolls... Yay! Good ones too. nefera De Nile, sig Toralei Stripe, Sig Clawdeen, DOTD Cleo, CAM Vampire and sea monster set.. and three I left behind. On the way out I decided to check the pony case... just in case, ya know? Well, whe the guy handed ti me, it had weight to it. So I looked inside..FULL of G1!!(and one G3) There's even two I didn't already have! Pearly baby Moondancer and Windy Wing Starry Wings! (Actually.. I think I have a baity Starry wings somewhere..) Yay! Good day!

OMG YOU'RE SO LUCKY!!!!! I barely find any g1s at the thrift store.... If I find some, I always buy them.... even if they're baity.

That's it! The reason we hardly ever find ponies is, they are hiding them inside things right? Busted! :LOL:

Those were great finds! I found that fakie case last year full of g1's but they were just commons, no one special. The winger and pearly baby were great to find, even that valentine's baby! Sounds like your MH finds were good too! Yay!

wow-that's a great find! Very lucky you looked at it in the end! Knowing me I'd see that and then pass it up XD
 
Wow, what a find! I wish I had or knew of a thrift store around here; so many people seem to have luck with them cx I also need to start collecting G1s... But I digress. Lucky!! :)

Now, just how near to the thrift store were you :) ?
