and, do mine eyes deceive me- or were those mushrooms corks in a former life?

Good eye! They were corks! I work at a bistro and I have a billion of them. Lo and behold... Mario mushies!

Seriously!!! I was originally quite bummed because I got a big Lot of Ponies off ebay and the three hiding in the back were hippo fakies x.X But I'm not so bummed anymore! They really had the perfect face shape for Yoshi!
 
HAHA! Nice! I love the fact you used a fakie.
This is only the second yoshi custom I know of, too! The first being the one I did last year. I like this one better lol!
 
This is a great custom! I didn't even realize it was a fakie at first!
 
It's not exactly my Ideal custom, but you did ok:cold:I don't exactly dig it.
 
Yoshi is my favorite Mario character. You did great job! I don't think I've seen a fakie custom before. Are the mushrooms made from cork?
