Your first MLP memory?

my earliest memory is playing with all of my g3s while at a diner - there were enough of them at the time that they seemed to span the whole table! valenshy was one of my favorite ponies, besides star catcher. despite her sweet name, i think i recall giving her a "mean popular girl" sort of personality when all of the ponies were interacting with each other.

later on, hasbro released the core seven. though i dislike the repetition that came with them now, funnily enough i enjoyed the concept a lot back then. i remember loving all of their colors together, and the "meet the ponies" cartoon that released alongside them. a nice memory i have is my mom buying me the 25th anniversary core 7 pack at toys r us.

I have now a pony memory conformed, that I mentioned earlier. In the 90s I collected many of the Panini sticker albums. These were very popular in Hungary in the 90s. I found on the weekend the Tom and Jerry one, and it is about friendship and hobbies, you can write your friends' names, your favourite hobbies, activities etc. And there was a page for your favourite TV shows. The 1st place of my list was "My Little pony". So I remembered correctly, I loved the G1 series, however, I barely recall any exact episode.

My very first pony memory was actually of Friendship Gardens (the G2 PC game)! I've always been a very tech-y kid, so I started playing games on computers at the age of like...three? Four? My parents bought me one of those variety horse game packs and the Friendship Gardens was included, so I grew up playing it. I always liked Sundance's memory dance floor game the best, and I remember fondly decorating the cake over and over again with my mother.

Then in 2003 when G3 was first released (I was in kindergarten at the time, I think I was around 5-6 years old), I discovered them through a friend at school. I did a lot of research online and found out that the new G3 ponies were actually from the same toy line as my G2 game, which I remember distinctly being both very cool and also very confusing to me. I also found tons of coloring pages, which I printed out and colored and hung on my wall.

Strawberry Swirl was my favorite pony at the time, and I asked my mom for her. My mom accidentally brought home a Strawberry Shortcake horse instead, but later realized it wasn't a My Little Pony and went back for Strawberry Swirl (not that I cared either way, I was happy enough with my horse).

But yeah, Friendship Gardens and Strawberry Swirl were my gateway into the pony collecting world! After that I was hooked and just kept asking for ponies for birthdays and Christmas, and whenever we went antiquing or yard sale shopping I'd hunt for them. So many good memories

People often confused us for being twins because we also liked to dress the same MLPC would wear purple and I would wear green :)

And my favorite early mlp memory is of getting the g3 celebration castle for Christmas!
and sunny daze I love her pose because I thought she was smaller than all of the other ponies! <3
I also love my memories of playing with my g1 Minty, and tick tack toe! <3
And I loved brushing g3 rainbowdashs hair!
I have so many wonderful memories with my favorite ponies

One of my first and beloved memories are back in the early 2000s when I was about 3-4 years old. Collecting ponies and watching the cartoons while playing with them. I have moved a lot since then, so I have no way of ever getting my childhood ponies back but that's what adult money is for. Plus, I hope they make whoever found them as happy as I was back then.
