Your ponies' lives?

As in, what are your ponies' characters and relationships?
In my world (well, one of them), the g3's are the parents of the ponyvilles(little kids) and the g4s(teens). The families can be quite confusing.
For example, my Waterfire, who has developed into a total jealous, sociopathic jerk, is married to my custom Island Delight- Silver. They have two children together- g4 Rainbow Dash and Ponyville Rainbow "Crash". (In my headcanon Rainbow is a gene mutation, and it will only pop up if both parents are carriers.)
Tex, single father of Apple Bloom and Fluttershy recently began dating the younger Cherry Blossom. He previously fathered twins with the town "mean girl", Diva (Pinkie Pie II). They are g4 Pinkie Pie and (molded hair) "Dinky" Pie.
Diva and Waterfire can't stand each other, which led to a problem when their daughters began to develop a close friendship.
Meanwhile, Waterfire and Silver run the "Island" (Butterfly Island), a popular vacation destination at the edge of town. Also working there is Shell Belle, a total optimist who can't say anything bad about anyone. She adopted g4 Twilight Sparkle with her ex-boyfriend, Phoenix (custom Tulip Twinkle), who left her for Cupcake. Cupcake is the caretaker of her little sister g4 Cherry Pie and adopted mother of Ponyville "Peppy" (Peppermint- Minty).
I'll stop rambling now. Anyone else want to share?
(I know there've been threads like this in the past- I thought that since it hasn't come up in a while this might be a good time.)

I was wondering if anyone else had backstories for theirs, haha. Well, the only ponies I can think that have stories is Parasol and Starshine are best friends. I picked this up from a website a long while back in which those two ponies were the hosts and they'd have conversations on each page.

Bright Bouquet's alter ego is Pony Martinez, and she is a sidekick to a terrible supervilan, but she is smarter and does all the planning and the work to get their plots to run smoothly. She also graduated East Miami Community College.

Snowflake, Candy Cane and Mittens are best friends, but that makes sense. Also I've always pictured Candy Cane and Starshine as males.

I think of my ponies more like my pets. I "rescue" most of them from thrift stores and have gotten a few from breeders (collectors). I am sure that once I have kids, they will get all sorts of drama-filled back stories, since I will allow them to be played with (though I will be very watchful for scissors, markers, etc.).

I grew up with my G3s, and they still retain their personalities from when I was a kid, although slightly modified and more complex. And of course I always figure in my new ones.

Here goes (since every single one has an in-depth backstory, these are the most prominent):
Shenanigans - Ponyville's most respected party planner, and shameless geek, a member of the Geek Society. Ordinarily somewhat hyper and scatterbrained, but extremely organized when it comes to her job. The only pony who can seem to see the good in Princess Peppermint, and she's good friends with Sparkleworks, the firefighter who holds that position only to set off the fireworks.
Princess Peppermint - The mayor of Ponyville, originally from Canterlot (the recently added material lol), who insists on being called "Princess". Enjoys the finer things in life like clothes, hair appointments with Lovely Ladybug, and hand painted portraits by Finger Paints. Is annoyed and embarrassed by, ironically, her older sisters, the geeky Candy Cane and Minty, who share her mansion with her.
Cotton Candy - A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, now the exec chef/owner of the Cotton Candy Cafe, Ponyville's best restaurant. Very friendly and kind, but a good businesswoman. Obviously an excellent chef. Good friends with Rainbow Swirl, the Cafe hostess and her right-hoof mare, Rainbow's little sister Lickity Split, and Candy Apple, the hyper and geeky pastry chef, and her cousin, the line cook Golden Delicious. She was featured on Iron Chef Equestria and went to culinary school with the legendary Port-O-Bella.
Port-O-Bella - The world-famous iron chef who recently retired in Ponyville. She went to the French Culinary Institute with Cotton Candy, but went on to study at Le Cordon Bleu when Cotton Candy went home to open the Cafe. They reunited when Cotton Candy's Iron Chef episode was taped, and Port-O-Bella soon moved to Ponyville.
Sunny Daze - The cheerful and friendly owner of Party City's Ponyville franchise, much like FiM Pinkie Pie. She's the only pony who can get shy Flutterbutter to talk, and annoys the heck out of Winter Wish. Also a member of the elite band the Pony Pop Stars.
Winter Wish - Ponyville's banker and resident killjoy. Very crabby and does a sort of hibernation during the summer. She runs an ice rink in her spare time along with her sister Mittens. Her friends include Wind Wisher, a meteorologist, and Toboggan, owner of a ski shop.
Banjo Blue - owner/manager/agent/composer of the Pony Pop Stars, an elite band that performs all over Equestria. Members include - Tropical Delight, Flutterbutter, Sunny Daze, Sparklesnap, a photographer, Fun Fairy, a designer, and Starflower, a florist. Also includes Toola Roola, their dancer.
Island Rainbow - A real Valley Girl, as well as a beach bum, and a friend of Tropical Delight's from high school. Was recently kicked out by her parents, and was taken in by Tropical Delight. Extremely irresponsible, though she's a waitress at the Cafe, which is subject to change. Not very well liked.

And that's just the more significant characters lol. Great topic!

Oh my these stories are very complicated and funny! :D

Out of my collection, My FF Bluebelle has an obsession with apple turnovers and cannot be told to eat anything else she loves to sniff through things even if she isn't meant to, Parasol is very shy about her large bum which other's say is lovely anyway :p My childhood toy Whizzer has always been a tomboy with a very positive and laid back attitude, and never likes her hair long (she was bought by my grandmother as a child and has pen marks and cut hair).
My baby blue Ember is a wild child that causes mischief everywhere and shakes her bum and blows raspberries (sticks her tounge out) when she can't be caught! Baby Noddins has a magical nuzzles that sends you to sleep and she forgets about this a lot :) Baby Noddins also adores and looks up to Parasol, who love to just gently hold each other :) Cloud Dreamer is baby Noddin's adoptive mother, who does her best to take care of Noddins even though she has cancer and still needs treatment. Cloud Dreamer gets a lot of help to take care of baby Noddins from the Truly twins, who sing to all the young ponies and do funny things to make the young ponies smile. The eldest Truly twin has a love for painted wooden eggs and treats them very delicately when painting them. She also likes to pretend they are her own eggs and keeps them warm XD
Rainbow-tailed Bluebelle is quite a tall girl and is very full of love, and she wondered why no one would adopt her. She felt that she wasn't good enough compared to all the other ponies because no one wanted to pay her high adoption fees. Until one day she was adopted and was so thrilled! She went to a new home and got a good warm bath and introduced herself to all the other ponies there. She met a very kind and easy going tall pegasus, Whizzer, Rainbow-Bluebelle felt so comfortable with Whizzer and never leaves Whizzer's side. Whizzer think's Rainbow Bluebelle's unique tail is the most amzing thing she has ever seen!
Baby North Star has a lot of not too noticeable scars on her face and body, and needs some surgery to make her all better. The doctor says she will be a brand new pony when it's all done! She can't wait until it's all better. She wants to go fly with Whizzer when she is all better!
Magic Message Windy is a very silent pony, she once had her cutie mark but now she is lost in life and her cutie mark has disappeared. Day by day she talks more and more to all the other ponies, and her cutie mark blossoms back because she has found her happy place, her cutie mark grows flowers and fluffy cloud edges and she feels so proud and gets louder and louder each day as she recovers.
Big Brother Chief is a strange male with a long mane, but it is very suiting. He is celibate and acts like a really, really, big brother to all the other ponies. He is super tall and sometimes forgets his own strength and size. He helps with hard work, and lets the young ponies climb up onto his back for a ride.
Sunnybunch loves to hang around FF Bluebelle and hides Bluebelle's apple turnovers under flowers and watches to see if she can find them! FF Bluebelle sniffs the apple turnover out easily and eats it, flowers and all. Sunnybunch trots on over laughing so much, because she didn't expect Bluebelle to eat the flowers! Bluebelle laughs with her with cream on her nose, thinking it as funny as Sunnybunch does.
Dainty Dove loves to dance, and she never realises how silly the things she says sound until after she says it, making her very adorable and silly. She loves to cuddle up with the truly twins, and teaches the young ponies silly dances. Dainty Dove feels very lonely and wishes someone would love her, but she keeps a smile on her face anyway.
Sunny Daze and Magic Marigold have been together through thick and thin, and will always be friends no matter what. They were once treated poorly and were left filthy and sad, then they found a new place and found more friends to love!
Wysteria has taken good care of Tink-A-Tink-A-Too like a little sister for a very long time, they are only a few years in age different, but Wysteria love to keep an eye out for her "little sister" who is very childish and runs into trouble.
Rarity has a super long rainbow mane that glitters and flows in the sunlight, she keeps her hair tied up when she is out with all the other ponies, but will let it flow at home. Wysteria loves to visit her and get her hair done by Rarity! Rarity also does up every ponies hair on a special day every year, and everyone loves being extra fun and crazy with their hair on Crazy Hair Day!

And I haven't really got many stories for all my g4's, they're only recent! :p I should have some soon :D

My bestie and I had a 'playbook' with all our scenarios in it... from natural disasters where our hundreds of ponies had to migrate around the verandah, to our ponies starting out as foals (played by their foals) then growing up through the ages and meeting their spouses, and having their foals who then grow up as well! I'm still searching fot that darned book, I know I still have it somewhere!

All the ponies are parts of families, which is getting harder and harder as I add more and more girl ponies to the herd, LOL! G1's adults are adults and older teens, G3 adults are teens, G1 flutters, G2 adults and G4 Alicorns are tweens, and the G4's and all the babies are well, babies. Petites, ponyville and Blind bags are newborns. Ruby Lips was my first pony, and will always be a mum. Her man changes every now and then, to balance out the familes by colour, etc.. she's dated Beach ball (when I had a manky one I called male) Hopping Pocket (same deal) Quarterback and now Salty.... Only the best for my Ruby! Pony Bride's pose mares are mums, as well as Patch and some of the princess ponies! And some of the SHS girls... because Ruby can't be the only skinny yummy mummy!

I have complex family and herd relationships for each generation. Most of my ponies live in single male/ multi-female herds like wild ponies, with babies for a lot of the moms (even if the babies don't "match," like weren't meant to be a set). The G3's I guess have G1 males for their babies, but they don't hang out with the G1's much. There are also royal and non-royal ponies, and they live in different places. Some sets are magical, like the G1 Rainbows and Sparkle ponies, and many unicorns. G4 is pretty much like the FiM show, but I'm not getting into the whole Royal Wedding thing because right now I am going through a radically anti-wedding phase.

That's the really, really short version. It would take pages to write it all out. Sometimes I do take pictures of my families, though, especially if one of the members is a Nirvana/rare new acquisition. I like to show them off :)

my ponies have intricate backstories. i have a lot of stories but i'm just gonna go over my faves.
Sunny Daze owns the Petal Parlour salon with her bestie StarSong, with whom she shares the apartment above the salon. She can't see a thing without her glasses, which she hates. she is ditzy and naive, but she can get tough when mad. She is madly in love with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Banana Boat (a fakie). They just recently broke up, and she is currently with Shining Armor.

StarSong is co-owner of the Petal Parlour. She cares very much about Sunny Daze, and was never very fond of Banana Boat. actually she and banana boat hate each other. but secretly...she has a huge crush on him. she has a sassy personality and a sharp toung. even though she helps run a salon, she is notorious for burning hair with a curling iron. she has a real thing for pudding cups, and hails from butterfly island.

Banana Boat is an inventor/entrepenure/odd job pony. he loves to party hard, and is in the punk band ''Cobalt'' with his brothers Shrimp Boat and Sail Boat. H on-again-off-again boyfriend of Sunny Daze, he truly loves her, but he gets scared that things are too serious and breaks up with her often. he is currently trying to win her heart back from Shining Armor. He is ready for the most serious relationship possible. He's going to propose to her at the cotton candy cafe!

Shing Armor is the new pony in town. he is a bit shy and sees the beauty in what most dissmiss. he genuinly likes his new girlfriend Sunny Daze.
Cotton Candy is the owner of the cotton cafe. she is mother of Sweetie Belle, Penny Candy, and son Bravery (OC portrayed by g3 butterscotch). she is sarcastic, cynical, pessimistic, and greedy. she can however lend you a kind ear and motherly advice. she is like a mother to all the ponies and tends to be the only voice of reason. all her menu items are overpriced.

I'm working on mine right now, but I have quite a lot. I want to make them more intricate, but here there are.

Dainty Dove is a grump and thinks old ponies are the best. McDonald's Ivy likes her, but finds it hard to be really good friends with her, since she doesn't like any of the new ponies.

Periwinkle used to be sweet, sensible, and a little shy, when I accidentally let her see Dragon Heart. She's now mean and crazy and thinks she's a dragon. When she gets around the other G3s, she's going to go through therapy.

Fluttershy is in love with my custom of Big Macintosh.

Cinnamon Breeze is best friends with Sunshine Parade. Both of them grew up with scary movies and a rough environment, so they both became pretty tough. But Sunshine Parade became nice and sweet, when she met Daddy Bright Bouquet (I don't have Mommy or baby, and he's my only real boy pony and there's not much chance I'll get them so whatever). They're now in love.

Baby Nightsong is Cotton Candy's adopted baby.

Cherry Pie is Cherry Spices's protective and skeptical sister. Cherry Spices would love to just play and be wild and do what she wants.

Applejack is a very silly pony. Very.

There's a lot more, but I won't write it.

this is from when I was a kid - I don't remember it much but this is what I do
Bowtie was shy and quiet but always nice. Peachy was nosey and was that local gossiper.
Baby sundance was... a tiny bit special. I wasn't a cruel kid I just suffered with my own specialness and this is how I dealt with it (I have mild CP). Molly really never hung with the ponies because she couldn't under stand pony talk. Quakers was a hand me down from my cousins they were rough on her. She was the class clown always being silly. Baby Seaspray lived in a waterfall and didn't get to see much of what was going on. Some times the other ponies would carry her to special events. Creamsicle was one of my favorites she was a visitor from Africa and was super sweet even though the others thought she was a strange looking pony. Peppermint crunch was a show off and at times rude. If I remember right she did alot of teasing. Braided Beauty was her sister and was always teaching her that it wasn't nice to treat others that way. Floater was a good friend of quackers and was always helping cheer up every ones day. I think she didn't quite know how to fly and part of the many plots was finding different ways for her to fly. Barnicle was a stud muffin he didn't know it but all the ladies did. He was shy and was often gone on his pirate ship. He would always show up when G.I.Joes invaded and tried to capture the ponies for battle steeds (I had two brothers, no sisters ^_^'). Noddins was cute and was having issues with her magic. She hid a lot or was missing a lot. Many times the others had to look for her
Puddles and Peeks were I believe Peppermint Crunch's kids, there colors are the same. There was no Dad i was little I didn't know how it works XD. Buzzer I honestly believed she was Morning glory from the my little pony movie she had fairy dust and could allow the other ponies to fly with it. Hmm just like Tinkerbell..... Sweet Lily was just plain mean and was a snob. She ran the perfume parlor and didn't like to share her special perfume. Dainty Dahlia was a hand me down from my cousins and was Sweet Lily's sister she was nice as long as lily wasn't around. All of the ponies felt sorry for her. Scoops was a garage sale find and was drawn allover with pen and highlighter. She was nice but kinda like a crazy cat lady. Twinkler was my very favorite. She was kind and lived in the sky she would show up to help the others with their problems. She could turn invisible and would help with out being noticed. Remco "Pretty Pets" Pink & White "Happy Unicorn" which I called Sweet Stuff I believe was model or something and was baby Noddins' mom. Baby Dots and Hearts was an orphan and every on adopted her she talked funny due to her one tooth. Bubble fish was my newest pony and spent most of her time tiptoeing around so that she would not spill out her little fish. The fish had no name but was always jumping out and needing help to get back in the bowl - I disconnected the fish, I didn't cut it just untied it. And that is about it.
