For a while now I have been thinking my Blossomforth’s face looks a bit strange compared to my other ponies. She is my second oldest pony so I’m unsure if something has happened over the years with age or she’s just different herself
(Little kid me takes blame for the hoof... I’m not sure why her back leg is squashed either. Maybe that was when little kid me used to take her to school?)
Not only does she look slightly different to me anyway in her face but her face is also really rough.
It’s hard to capture it on camera. So I tried to clean it and most of it went away and turned it to be thick dirt but the roughness remains. I’m not sure if it’s a side effect of her face stretching or squashing? Here she is compared to her best friend Desert Rose and Bowtie who may be a better comparison:
I thought this roughness was just Blossomforth only but when I was getting my ponies out to take photos of them for a photography project, I noticed Bowtie’s hooves are coming up all porous. I tried to clean it off like Blossomforth but it wasn’t doing anything.
It’s hard to get a clear enough photo to explain
If you are able to see, the texture is all around her hooves. It isn’t limited to the front hooves though, it’s also at the back and her back legs in places too. Blossomforth has this mainly on her ears and around her mouth but also across her face too. It’s almost as if Bowtie has been standing in something the way hers is.
Does anyone know what this is and the cause?
With Blossomforth’s face, I’m just interested to know if anyone else has ponies like this and if there is a reason why this may have happened or if she is actually just normal
Thanks
EDIT:
I forgot to mention, her body is also quite wider too a bit. This may be from her back legs being squashed? I tried to get some pictures to compare:
She isn’t in the pictures but Round ‘n’ Round is the softest pony I have yet nothing like his has happened to her. She’s not here because her pose is very different
ANOTHER EDIT:
About the roughness... I was dusting my pony box and I’ve noticed even PeriWinkle has some roughness all over her ear but what’s as strange as Bowtie’s being over her hooves, Peri has some on her hooves but it looks as if it joins up? It’s the top two hooves in the picture where she’s laying down. It’s as if she’s really been standing in something...
(Sorry, it’s really hard to capture on camera)
Is something attacking my white ponies?
