MLPTP EVENT 2022 Spring Swap Brags

I’ve never been the first to receive packages, but today, looks like I am the first. I don’t see a separate brag thread, so I’ll just gush here.

@ufutaki just left and we had a lovely visit. I was excited last night when I learned she was my swap partner. Uftaki lives locally so I knew I’d get both gifts AND a visit from a three dimensional person.

I’ll have to let Uftaki post the before picture, because I started tearing into the package pretty quickly.


First of all, the gift bag was filled with beautiful flowers in some of my favourite colours. They will make for lovely photos in my upcoming pony photo shoot.

I was super happy with everything in my box. All the extras are things I will use. I love ribbons and like to keep a stash on hand for gifts and crafts. Next year’s swap partner will be sure to see this bunny ribbon on their package. I love the tiny jars of sequins.

Yesterday while I was shopping for my own swap partner, I nearly bought myself a cute bunny from Toy Traders. I
I’m so glad I restrained myself, because this bunny comes guilt free. These chicks are sure to find themselves in my photo shoot this weekend.

It’s been ages since a knocked off a pony from my G1 list. Baby Sea Star is one of the last two sea ponies I need. I never thought I’d find Snowball either!

Finally, and probably my favourite item, because it’s a pin of my favourite and most beloved pony, Butterscotch. So happy. I actually wear pins on my coats and I can’t wait for people to see this one.
As usual, Uftaki did an amazing job. I’m super grateful. This has made a very difficult weekend so much brighter. It wasn’t just the gifts, I can’t tell you how awesome it was to have Uftaki over at my current home. I showed her the yoga studio and she’s the first guest I’ve had over. If you haven’t had the pleasure, she’s a lovely person and so it’s so nice to talk about toys with someone in person.

oh how sweet! look at all those stickers, craft ribbon & tiny jars! (i have some myself, except w/ glitter) that's an amazing gift. those flowers are beautiful as well. very nice uftaki

It was great having such a good visit with you, and I am so glad that you're happy with everything. It was a lot of fun going around and finding all the little extras.

i can't tell you how excited i was to see that your package delivered & waiting to see the brag... so so happy everything got there safe to you- perks of getting a swap partner only one state below you. i put so much tape around that box since i was only able to close it by a mere margin. glad it worked out & i'm even more glad you enjoy everything!

i'm real proud of that card & i'm stoked you love it too! (the eyes are glittery if no one can tell by the photo)
let me know how the kitties like those greenies by the way. looks like they could smell them through the packaging

3rd one's the charm! i checked informed delivery the other day and saw a package coming from the same address i sent to, and wouldn't you know? @JadeCade was my swapper, too! i was so excited to see what she had in store, and her package arrived at the door this afternoon. look at the outside of the box there's unicorn duct tape & butterfly stickers everywhere (i saved them all and the ribbons too!)


and then i open it layer by layer... love the tape on the inside & the idea to tape the card like that. very appealing colors


and... the reveal! part 1

instantly noticed the shenanigans plush and was so giddy!! shes now the 6th plush pony in my collection! (after 2 sweetberries, rainbow swirl butterscotch & sweet breeze ) i found the little carrier she was put in very funny and cute. that was one of my favorite parts

and then just like that within a few minutes... everything was opened! final reveal!



i was right to start with the smaller wrapped items first. so many sweet goodies, i feel spoiled. i don't know how you knew but i love stroopwafels- my mom does too. they're great with coffee! reeses are always a must. i already dug into those pejoy's... i've had them before and they're so yummy & creamy. can't wait to try the dot's bar & the flipz! i'm familiar with dots pretzels but i've never seen this before

and of course, the extra's! on top of those & and the adorable bunny card were some soft socks that say "less people, more cats" which i resonate with, lol, and some catgrass & catnip! my cat oliver will enjoy those once i plant them, i'll have to do that next month. plus some colorful stickers i get to add to my collection and a G3 pencil!





last but not least, it's a MIB boogie woogie!! i'm so happy to actually have her for myself now. she even has stickers in the back of her packaging, i've always eyed those. i really like her colors and think she's quite the underrated baby. she's getting unboxed & put in storage with the rest of my ponies for now, but will proudly be on display after we move.

all throughout unwrapping these i thought "what do you mean you need to step up your game? this is great!". @JadeCade , you packed together a beautiful & exciting box. i hope you know i enjoy everything so much- sending the biggest thank you! here's to the next swap i participate in!

I love seeing everybodies boxes! it makes me feel so bad i havnt gotten mine out yet >_O im sorry partner! its getting finalized tonight and i get paid tomorrow to ship it out! woohoo!

I’m so glad you enjoyed everything. I was bummed because I had a box to match the wrapping but shenanigan and her makeshift stable wouldn’t fit. So out came the pretty duct tape! The Stroopwafel was actually a last minute addition. We have a large Dutch population near my town so I thought that might be a fun personal touch. And of course, as a fellow cat-mama I couldn’t leave Oliver out, hope he enjoys the results of your labor!

I opened this first and was pretty sure it was going to be my favorite present. I love it It makes me laugh every time I see it.

I also got several spring chicken-themed gifts to support my daily tea habit including an awesome irridescent tumbler that I'm sure I will use frequently, and these cute coasters. I don't know how you found tea with a pony on it, but it's perfect.

I got the cutest Harry Potter pencils and notepad that I'm going to have to hide from my child so I can use them. And did someone say ponies?



Yes! The entire Apple Delight family! They are so perfect. I spent SO many hours playing with these guys and making up stories when I was a little girl. Opening these brought back such great memories and I'm honored to have them back in my herd. Thank you, Gingerbread!

I also am recognizing the pony stickers on the card! I love how @Gingerbread used them. So sweet. And the toothbrush *chefkiss* it really is the basic tool for any restoration project.

I'm glad you liked everything! As I was wrapping I noticed my completely unintentional beverage theme with the coasters, tumbler and tea LOL I was just looking for cute chicken stuff and of course I had to buy the tea with a pony on it, didn't even consider the flavor so I hope it's good!

The toothbrush was just a silly, fun thing I figured would be good for a laugh!
