Identifying G2 Ponies

I. Identifying the Generation
II. Identifying the Pony's Name

I. From the Ground Up: Figuring out the Generation

Before finding your pony's name, the set it belongs to, or its value, it's important to know how to figure out what generation of My Little Pony you have. One of the easiest ways to deduce this is to look at both the pony's body, and the information printed under its feet:

G2 ponies were made in a very limited number of sizes and poses, so they tend to be very easy to identify, especially with rhinestones in their eyes and elongated, slim bodies.

II. What's your G2 pony's name?
There are several ways to figure out which My Little Pony you have. Fortunately, we have wonderful members of the collecting community who have made this easier than it's ever been to accurately and easily identify your pony.
