curious if it will be the same hotel or city

depending on where i fly into drasticly changes the price of the flight but on the other hand having to pay for a shuttle service ... we will see
 
oh yeah hers hoping the hotel is close to the airport and if so then i am a go

Yeah...Schaumberg isn't really that close to Chicago. I used to live near Chicago. It was a a good place for Medieval Times though.
 
I was hoping to go, but the date interferes with my spouse's doctoral programme. Dang it. Her and her need for education and edification versus my greedy needs to waste money on Ponies!
 
i wonder if it will be in the same area? or the same hotel?
 
i also was not impressed with the hotel from last year, i actually filled out there survey really honestly because the hotel in general was run down and not clean
 
I thought the staff was wonderful last year--they gave us free breakfast vouchers, coffee and snack vouchers, were always really pleasant and courteous, and stored some of my equipment safely for me. Even the shuttle driver to the mall was really fun to talk to.

Any of the hotel staff I met in the hallways or the cleaning staff were very nice and helpful people, it was the hotel front desk staff that was borderline rude to me and my friend. I work in customer service and make it a point to be very nice to others in the same sort of position. We weren't upset or rude or anything but nice when we checked in and when we went to the front desk with a question during our stay but they were unhelpful and snappish. I'm glad you had a different experience Jewel and I hope everyone else that went was treated like you were.

the front desk staff was fine to me and my sisters, the night time restaurant staff was amazing. the breakfast staff was yelling across the restaurant in Spanish and English non stop, it was ridiculous. the guy driving the shuttle was awesome :)

on another note i am working on my fair booth !!!!! yea yes yes i just can not help myself and must have a booth display again

Fair preparation has already exploded in my house. The guest room is full of ponies and booth stuff.
