@Gingerbread I know the feeling! Mine took a full 10 days to get there and I was obsessively checking the tracking a MINIMUM of twice daily.
Guest, The MLPTP's Fundraiser and Prize Giveaway will be returning on June 1st! Check out this thread for all the latest news!
Fingers crossed - the UK postal system is going to go into meltdown this week as the government has just tighten the Christmas restrictions and lots of people aren’t allowed now to travel to see their familiesI've been watching tracking on the last 2 parcels, crossing my fingers they arrive before Christmas. Post office has been extra slow this year and even though everyone did post by the due dates we're still cutting it close on some. But I can report that @Icey_Flowerswirl yours has been in your state since 12/12 and @icecreamgirl yours arrived in the UK 12/8 so hopefully they'll be getting to you soon!
I just saw on the news that France isn't allowing trucks to come in from the UK because of the mutation of the virus. You all laughed at the toilet paper memes, now it's reality...Fingers crossed - the UK postal system is going to go into meltdown this week as the government has just tighten the Christmas restrictions and lots of people aren’t allowed now to travel to see their families
You guys know HOW to deal with snow in Iowa, too! We get it in Maryland and everyone PANICS like we're getting 10 feet!Wait, are you saying the European countries haven’t been dealing with a TP shortage for months?! My store finally got some in and wouldn’t you know, a whole inch of snow in the forecast and BOOM there goes all the TP again!
Thanks for the update Gingerbread! C’mon post office, you got this! :santasmile:I've been watching tracking on the last 2 parcels, crossing my fingers they arrive before Christmas. Here, we half an inch and the whole place shuts down. I learned how to drive in the snow where we used to live because we would get five feet average that would stay for 3-4 months. Here, you take your life in your hands going out in the snow because everyone gets studded tires (yes, even though we rarely get snow) and these people drive like they would any other day. Completely insane. My daughter has already seen cars and trucks spinning, sliding, slipping, and, of course, colliding. We only drive in the snow if it’s absolutely necessary. One year we got three ft that lasted a week. It was terrible. We don’t have snow plows, just de-icing grit. Also, yes, all the people who think they can just drive normally because of their studded tires, go on mad shopping sprees over less than an inch.Lol, we do know how to deal with snow... and yet, people always panic and buy out all the tp and bottled water with every first snow of the season.
Same here! Even the chance of snow and everything shuts downHere, we half an inch and the whole place shuts down.
