MLPTP EVENT ~*~ 2020 MLPTP Secret Santa Swap ~*~ COMPLETE!

I think I’ve got extras taken care of, waiting on ponies. Have a few extras wrapped. It’s been SO much FUN shopping for my partner! Way more fun than shopping for my family, lol!
 
Got my extras done, and they are sitting and "disinfecting" in their shopping bags. I will wipe down everything down tomorrow with lysol wipes. I might be going overboard, but the LAST thing I want to do is give the gift of COVID. I came home, dropped everything and jumped in the shower. That's how freaked out I am about our rising cases. Stay safe, everyone!

Good plan! :) my dad thinks I’m going overboard when anytime we go grocery shopping I wipe every item down with Lysol wipes (well except the potatoes we got yesterday), but it’s way better to be safe and take some extra steps than to possibly bring something home that a sick person could’ve touched :)

THANK YOU! I do that too! I feel ridiculous doing it, but I wipe down everything as well. You (anyone!) don't know who last touched that item. Were they sick? Were they healthy? DO THEY WASH THEIR HANDS?! Paranoia has kept us safe so far, and we're heading into winter, so at the very least, if I can avoid some version of the flu or my yearly cold/bronchitis, I will do it!

Exactly! None of us in my house have gotten sick so far. Do I know if it’s cause I wipe everything down? Nope, but it certainly can’t hurt :smile:

You should probably call me sometime this weekend my friend.

I always sanitize used things that come into my home, as well as groceries and the like. Otherwise I've always been that odd-ball that takes things from the back of shelves for some reason. I guess I've been prepping for this pandemic my whole life in a way. lol

Just want to stress for everyone to stay safe and do what you can as we all take the necessary actions required in each of our cities/homes to keep ourselves and families/friends all safe. Also, have fun putting together your boxes for your partners. We can all use the light hearted joy a special gift from a pony friend brings. <3

LOL, we do it too. My hubby makes a trip to the store on Sat morning really early, when I see the alert on my phone that a charge has been made, I lay out towels on the island and the floor for him to put all of the bags on. I set up the "Lysol" station and he wipes and sprays everything. So much work but worth the peace of mind. With me working in a showroom, I am around more people and I am always worried about bringing it home to my family.

BUT........I think I am done with all of my swap shopping so now I wait so I can sanitize & wrap! When I told my hubby about it he almost made me cry and told me that he saw how much joy the Halloween swap brought me that he would be upset if I didn't participate in this one.....
 
I'm trying to snag one more pony but of course it's an auction and not BIN so I'm just waiting to see how that goes but I also picked up a couple more extras today. It's coming together but I wanna pull out my pony wrapping paper and that'll have to wait until after Thanksgiving when I pull out the rest of my Christmas stuff so I'll at least be another week and a half before I ship probably, just more time to keep shopping :)

Oh, and feel free to post teaser pics before mailing your package! Gets us so excited!!
 
The first ponies arrived today and I've got the local extras, so just waiting. I can't wrap yet anyway... it's super difficult one handed. lol My doc gave me orders to baby it for the next 3 weeks, so I'll be enlisting more help from my E.
 
Well... one of my orders was cancel due to a shipping error. I’m bummed as to how to replace it. Otherwise, lots of loot arriving today.
 
Al things ordered and bought and waiting. I've gone over I think and yet I feel it's not enough. Can't wait to start wrapping it up!!!!
