3d printing models/files?

Would you mind posting some pictures? I've recently ordered some wingless Flutter Ponies I found cheaply on eBay, and I've generally intended to order repro wings for them, but now I'm curious if I could print my own. Though I'm not sure my printer is good enough for something so delicate...
I certainly will. I'm running a bit behind schedule and my husband needs to set-up my printer for the holographic paper still. Meanwhile here is a picture of the plain wings.... I think my son did a great job! FYI: Headless & Tailess flutter-wing pony!

Those wings look great so far!!
I think so too! My son is only in 8th grade yet he assembled the 3D printer components all by himself. He is able to troubleshoot issues with it and the like. I just can't even begin to understand it all.

He is trying the earring file now! I am quite impressed already!

Keep showing us your progress- that’s awesome!

I came across these today:

Huh, I posted *links to* the Baby and the Big Brother before, but she posted Firefly yesterday! Is she among us? (The others were posted *by the scanner* last year!)
They're really good quality scans, maybe someone should reach out to her specifically and see if she'd take requests.

*edits for clarity*

I measured a G1 Sweetheart earring. It measures 16 mm long. 8 mm wide and 8 mm flower depth. Trying to motivate my son to print one now that he has the measurements. I apologize for taking a long long time. I am not fast. I will get him to do it this weekend for sure!

On the topic of 3D printing I'm just going to throw this idea out to the ether and hopefully it reaches someone that can 3D print stuff but to make a replacement cover for the G1 My Little Pony Princess Sparkle (and any other variant there may be). Okay... I know nothing about 3d printing or this pony but I do know little pieces like that go missing all the time and being like 30-40 years old it's probably rare that they come with any when sold second hand and I'm sure there are collectors looking for it.

If this isn't the place for it, I appologise but... it's just... someone had mentioned it and thought it may be a good idea. I promise I mean well <3

+1 from me, I also have Princess Sparkle without the battery cover! (came in a lot that way)

I was inspired to make some more because of this thread, I felt weird about posing them because i dont want to monopologize the thread so i put them elsewhere but now I am putting them here, lmk if I shouldn't or should delelete the pose.
I mostly just wanted to try replicating an existing non-petite pose as a petite pony (so its got bigger hooves & sculpted hair) so I tried the mimic pose. Obviously not as accurate as a scan but it was fun to try.
