MLP Conventions & Meets
What is a convention?
A convention is a large-scale gathering of fans and collectors, usually with hundreds to thousands in attendance. These events are held at large-scale venues like hotels, state fairgrounds, and convention centers, and often feature specialty panels and celebrity guests.
What is a meet?
A pony meet is a small-scale gathering of fans and collectors, usually with less than 100 people in attendance. These events are held at smaller-scale venues that may or may not be private or public, and usually feature potluck lunches, games, and other activities.
