Are you into the natural tone ponies? Like, browns, grays, things like that?

I still kind of wish that the G1 line would have been the natural colors that they were suppose to be, but ya know. Pastel and Rainbows sold better I guess ;P

Yes!

Interestingly I probably wouldn't have gotten into collecting MLP if the designs were less fantastical - I'm not much of a horse person LOL, I got into it for the more whimsical designs. But I feel like the rarity of natural colors in MLP just makes it special when I see a custom or a pony with natural tones, and so I appreciate it more as something I don't see every day.

i love the natural ponies lol but you can probably tell just by my own character lol

im a horse person, sooooo lol, i actually grew up playing with horses, not the colorful ponies, i really didnt like the rainbow fancy ponies lol

i wanted "real" ones ya know? lol

but those naturals stuck with me and will stay forever!

I think the rainbow colors suit mlp since they are already so stylized. That being said, I could stand to see a few more natural tone ponies. I loved looking through my book of horse breeds as a kid, some of them would make great ponies.

I like both. I had my Breyer horses and my real horses for the natural colors. MLP was magical so it was colorful. At least I think that's how my brain sorted it.

Not particularly, and certainly not all natural. I'm ok with it, if they've got colorful hair, and I do have a few. But other then that, I prefer my realistic horses to be realistic, and my fantasy horses to be fantasy.

The black one reminds me so much of my Missouri foxtrotter, Rebel. I have a black dog... Used to have a black cat. Something about black beautiful animals… I like panthers, too! lol I tend to agree with @Leave a Whisper I like them to be either, but not both simultaneously.

I’ve always been into MLP mostly because of the fantasy aspect of them (Unicorns and Pegasus being the main draw for me in my younger years). Funny, I always hated the Breyer & Grand Champions because I thought they were fake MLP rip-off’s. Lol

As an adult I do like the appeal of more natural toned custom MLP’s. I think that’s why the G4 Kirin appeal to me so much because their more natural earth tones and a design that remind me of Amalthea.

To be young, innocent and oblivious again.
