Hello lovely pony-people

I am named after a very sparkly and loved unicorn friend (soft toy) that has nothing to do with MLP lol. From the UK. When I was around about the age of 7 or 8, I was very much into collecting ponies. My favourite was Rainbow Dash for the longest time until I got Minty. When I entered my teenage years, I decided that it was time to say goodbye in hopes they would all go to loving homes and... they did. Recently however, in my late 20s, I have really been regretting that decision and got curious in collecting again. Then this fire was sparked by Sunny Daze. Seeing her brought all the memories and joy of collecting the ponies I had, brand new off the shelf, with their little brushes, and necklaces. My generation was end of G2 and beginning to mid' of G3. I remember playing the G2 game and owning a lot of G3's. I like to think collecting now, means they have come back to me whilst being on a big adventure. I've come here in hopes to learn new things and gain knowlege in looking after my ponies and maybe grow my collection hehe.

I got @Aurora Unity Solstice to take the plunge and join us here, she is familiar with the Trading Post & I know you guys will love her, she’s awesome!
 
Welcome! Sunny Daze was my absolutely favoritest from the beginning of G3, I adored her colors. And liking her led me to collect G2 Light Heart as well.

I’m glad you found your way back to collecting and I love your perspective on them returning after an adventure!
 
Nice to meet you! Your story sounds familiar only about 20 yrs more recent LOL my pony love was rekindled in the late 90's when I stumbled upon ponies on this new thing called "eBay" LOL it just brought back so many memories of my favorite childhood toys! Fast forward almost 30 years and here I am with a dedicated pony room in my house LOL Look forward to seeing you around the forum :)

Yes, almost twins! Hehe Ebay is where I got my collection from, surprised I didn't mention that, maybe I was being careful haha. I did get a LOT. Hopeing they all fit on a shelf or two when I do end up decorating my room. For now, storage they go~
