Dont know if this is in the right place, but it relates to ponies because I'm trying to buy some from French people.
There are two different transactions with two different people. One of them is under $15US and I would not be willing to spend an extra $15 to do a bank transfer. Its for a G2 baby and NSS Wind Whistler.
The second one is for some much harder to find pieces, including a beautiful condition French pony carring case. The total is $46US.
Now before I go down to send her Western Union for the more expensive lot, the seller has told me about 4 times un-neccessarily that she ONLY accepts:
International Mandate in Euros
Cash in Euros and
Bank Transfer in Euros.
Does anyone know ANYTHING at all about sending money internationally? The girl at the Western Union booth gave me the MOST dumbfounded look when I asked her. I thought Lady, this is your JOB to know about this stuff! She hadn't a clue.
Does a cheaper way EXIST of sending payment other than paypal? I tried a simple international money order from Randalls and she send it back saying she couldnt cash it.
Im in the US and I'm in a larger city so there should be access...I just dont know where to look or even where to star to look. My bank (Washington Mutual) well first off, they dont seem very professional in there. Mostly young people listening to hip music over the loudspeaker. I asked them too thinking, "okay, this is a BANK for gosh sakes. They should know SOMETHING" but the guy stumbled over his words and was like "uhh, we only sell regular money orders here...like, dollars."
"Do you know of a place that might could help me?"
"Hmm....no, sorry" gee thanks.
You people are intelligent. Help? Please?
