I am sooooo in love with this ubercute pony! I made her from a baity Crystal lace... LOOOOOVE that pose!! As usual, apoxie sculpt over wire mesh, Delta Ceramcoat acrylics, and Dollyhair Custom Blend nylon hair. (Sorry I forgot the color names) She is not perfect... her center of balance is off a little. She does stand, but tips backward rather easily... if she had a metal base to stick to, she'd be much more stable. Her head and front legs are filled with apoxie sculpt to counter her shell weight, but the portion in her head came loose while plugging, so it rattles a little. Of course, I don't imagine she'd be shaken very often lol! If you're interested, I do intend to sell her... looking at offers through PM here before I put her on Etsy.

OMG! She is amazing!!! Where do you get the wire mesh you use? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything!

I normally don't like snails, but this is definately an exception! She's super cute! I love the colors used in her hair, they make a nice blend.

OH EM FREAKIN' GEE!!! She is so cool!
I love snails, they are such incredible little creatures, and she is just way too adorable! Awesome work! And where ever did you get the idea???

That is so cool! Woo woo! Rock-on! So much fun!

Thanks you guys! I've been mulling her around in my head for a while... I actually sculpted her and let her sit for nearly a year! I didn't have the creative motivation to finish her lol! I'm not 100% pleased with her sculpting, because you can see a few seams where the apoxie didn't smooth to the vinyl as well as I like for it to, but overall I really love the way she came together. As for inspiration for the combo... I just like snails! They're super cute with their smooshy bodies and spirally shells! :3 I should have taken better pics of her shell... I'll try to post some more pics later.
