I agree, too. Although, I do like that fim included a diva. They still have aj and dash who are tomboys. I like that they represent an assortment of personality. There are some girls who are divas. One out of seven isn't too terrible. Also, the only g4's that they didn't make as boys were the the brushables. They made them all as bb, funko, and others, but I've only seen shining armor and his hair was so pathetic. As for spike, they do overdo the rarity crush, but when I was a teenager I did know some boys who, although intelligent, would act pathetic around a crush, so again, not too far off.
I do really wish that they were more accurate and equal. There is one show, Justin time, that I liked how equal the two characters are. There are several more that are aimed at toddlers that have really done well.
I was talking about boy scouts with my caregiver. Girl scouts and boy scouts have always been segregated and I understand wanting a single sex group for bonding, but I was always envious of all the cool stuff the boys got to do vs the boring frivolous stuff in girl scouts. Apparently females are to be allowed in eagle scouts soon?
I'm all for equality of the sexes, but the fact is that they are different. Even a tomboy is not a boy. Then, now, there are middle schoolers who are identifying themselves as homosexual, bi, trans, and all the other variables. Where do they all fit? I think very soon the lines will be as close to gone as possible when humanity contains such a variety.
