As for our main tree, we were a little late in getting it, and there was only this sad looking 8-9' tree left

We bought it anyway

after cutting 3" off the bottom, I present our tree, named Sad Eyes (by our son) (no lights or ornaments yet)

Sad Eyes doesn't look so sad anymore!

I couldn't get him to bite a pony for the Halloween Photo contest...

and the other one "helping" me with the Kitchen trees by laying on the container

Here’s ours

it’s the first time we haven’t had a real tree, and while it does look nice and being pre lit is handy, I missed going out and looking at trees in the snow surrounded by christmassy pine smell
