Ok, so my pony room flooded a few weeks ago, and I decided this was finally the time to buy some good furniture, since most of the old, junky stuff was damaged.

I decided to splurge on one nice cabinet to display my porcelain collection (which is one of my personal favorites.) It came yesterday, and I assembled the whole thing myself. (It actually has 6 shelves, but the bottom 2 don't have ponies in them so I didn't bother trying to squeeze them into the photos)

What do you think?

oh wow- that is a gorgeous collection! Glad you have a nice cabinet to do it justice!
 
That collection is jaw dropping! They definately deserved to be displayed in something like that. I'm very impressed!
 
WOW!!! That collection is gorgeous and amazing! And the cabinet suits them perfect! Do you have all the porcelains? I hope one day I will have all of them and just looking at yours makes me want to get them sooner than later!

That's gorgeous! I didn't realize there were that many different porcelains...are you missing any? It's absolutely a stunning collection and the cabinet is just perfect!
 
I am only missing 1 (USA) porcelain.

Is there a difference between US and International porcelains? I have Cotton Candy (looks similar to yours) and Majesty (don't see her i ypur cabin, or am I just blind?), both from flea markets (and probably for sale soon :wink: ).
 
As far as I know yes, there is a difference. Majesty and Buttons were not produced in the USA. I think those 2 might have been produced by a different company. What kind of markings does Majesty have? (If anyone has Majesty or Buttons for sale, please let me know! lol)

I'm missing 1 USA pony........

My Majesty and CC both have the MLP rainbow logo on their belly and 1986 Hasbro Inc. :)

I have a standing Majesty and a Lying (sleeping) Applejack for sale if you are intrested, I would prefer trade though.... :)
 
OH, that is breathtakingly beautiful! What a magnificent collection. :) I always did like the porcelains, but I only have 3 myself - two from flea markets, and one from eBay during a downtime ($16 w/ box and tag!).

The one you're missing - could it be Glory? (I don't know, so I'm taking a guess - can't remember if they made a single Glory, or not.)
 
*clapping* Yes! I am missing the single Glory! Good eyes!

I've been collecting these since 1999, and I'm pretty fussy about price. I bought all of these online, and I did pay $50 each for 3 of the larger ones (all with tags and boxes), but all the others were $30 or less, with several being only $2-$8. (I really hunted around for these!!)

I've been watching Glory auctions for the past few years, but they always go too high for me. That's ok. I'm willing to wait.
