I think it's pretty unlikely that humans are alone in the universe, seeing as the universe is so big. I wouldn't say that it's impossible for there to have been life on Mars at one point, seeing as we don't know a whole lot about the planet's history, but I'm not sure I'm convinced by a few pictures. It'll be interesting when humans actually get to Mars and are able to explore in person; I think we'll know a lot more then. This is definitely fun to think about, though! *Imagines ancient Martians speculating about life on Earth*
