Here is a link to our brag thread!

How does it work?
We all need a break after the busy holiday season! What better way is there to relax and stay warm in these long winter months than a piping hot cup of your favorite tea, cocoa, or coffee? The MLPTP Cozy Winter Sippin' Swap is a chance to share your favorite warm winter beverages with 1-3 pony friends.

This is the FIRST swap of its kind, and also the first swap that will be hosted by your NEW moderators,
@ChocolateStarfire and @Lackadaisy, with the assistance of the wonderful @Gingerbread!
Everyone will send and receive 1-3 small boxes packed with tea, coffee, and/or cocoa mix. The point of this swap is to share YOUR favorite flavors, and to be surprised by the contents of the package(s) you receive. Let's brighten up our winter by trying new things and having an adventure of flavors!
Requirements to Join
- 3 months of membership at MLPTP
- Having been active (making threads/comments) in the past 6 months
- Minimum of 40 posts
- Minimum 2 MLPTP feedback *other feedback sources like Ebay or Mercari may also be considered if ALL other requirements met
- You must not have any Negative Feedback on your profile.

What are the spending limits?
We all get a little spendy around the holidays, so this swap is designed to be fun, exciting, AND easy on your wallet! You will choose whether you want one, two, or three partners. You must spend at least $8, but no more than $12 per partner. This does NOT include shipping costs of any kind. If you are creative with your spending, you may be able to share several flavors with this budget! For example, I may spend most of my budget on a small bag of great local coffee to send, but I can also share a few of my favorite tea bags that I already have in my cupboard. Please see etiquette below!

MLPTP Swap Etiquette to Follow:
- You must include at least three different beverages in each swap box. This can be any combination of tea, coffee, and cocoa, but should fit with any dietary restrictions and preferences communicated by your partner(s).
- Items must be sealed from the manufacturer.
Individual tea bags are okay, but they must be like this:
and NOT like this:
- If you are sending loose-leaf tea, make sure to include some way to brew it (a tea ball, reusable tea bag, empty disposable tea bags, etc.)
- All coffee should be pre-ground. Not all members own or have access to a coffee grinder.
- You are allowed up to 3 swap partners.
- Extras are not a requirement for this swap. Any small extras (stickers, bookmarks, artwork, etc.) sent are to be solely at the sender's discretion and are not included in the budget for the swap.
- All items must be wrapped. Think about it... how FUN is it to unwrap gifts?
- Remember to include a card and let your partner know who you are.
- Tracking (domestic) or receipt of sending (international) is required! This way if something is lost it doesn't count against you, but it will be the post office's fault.
- If shipping international please mark as GIFT on the customs form so your partner is hopefully less likely to have to pay duties/taxes on the package. When recording values please do not overestimate for those who have to pay customs fees. If you are mailing internationally and would like to know your recipient's preferences for shipping, please ask us to ask them for you.
- We do not recommend shipping internationally from the USA using services other than USPS at this time due to high brokerage and customs fees.
- Be sure to package your swap box(es) for a safe secure delivery! This means using a sturdy box (NOT a mailer envelope), packing tape, and filling all empty space in the box with packing material (packing peanuts / bubble wrap / etc) so that no part of the box collapses in transit. Expect the absolutely worst to happen to your package in transit. Make sure your labels are clear and legible.
- Send your tracking number and/or proof of postage to the swap host by January 25th, 2025.
- Once you've received your boxes, you must post a thank you brag in the Show n Tell thread. Your sender is anxiously waiting to know how much you love your box, and everyone else would love to see what you received! Failure to complete this step will result in a neutral feedback for the swap. Please try to include at least one photo that shows everything you received all together, with however many other photos/comments you want. You must also leave feedback for each swap partner you receive a package from.
- The mods here at the MLPTP are very busy and will quickly be moving along to the next swap, game, contest, or other activity. Please open your boxes and complete step #2 above by February 8th, 2025. Failure to do so means that the mods may not be able to step in and help with any concerns you may have with your swap box after that time has passed. (Exceptions apply if your box arrives after this date due to extenuating circumstances).
- If you have any questions or concerns with ANYTHING you MUST contact the swap host ASAP. We will always work together to come to a fair and decisive conclusion. You are welcome to send the host photos of your swap box contents if you have any concerns you may be missing the mark, and we would be happy to provide feedback.

The Importance of the Deadlines Listed Below
and the Importance of Communication
Everyone who signs up and sends package(s) should be able to also receive package(s) in a timely manner. If you are not confident you can have your package(s) shipped by the deadline, please reconsider joining. There will be plenty of other fun festivities to participate in year-round. We understand things arise and some things can't be controlled, that's okay but we also want everyone who participates to enjoy the swap and be assured to have their gifts in a timely fashion.
If for any reason you run into issues you must communicate with the swap host so we can work it out. Failure to ship by the required deadline or communicate issues in a timely manner may result in a negative feedback. Our goal is to make sure our swaps are fair and fun for all who participate.
