For those who does not have floaties or shells, how do you display your seaponies? I don't like how the shotglasses look, and I'd love to have them standing. Right now they're laying down in a pile and I can't appreciate them that way.

I want to see how you all display!

Great question, following for reference.....
I only have one and she has her floatie but she still falls over...

I don't know who first suggested it, or where I read it, but you can stand them up in egg cartons/egg cups:

Oh I actually like this! I bet we can conceal the cartons with a nice decorative water/pool design or something to make it more attractive

I bet that's definitely something that can be done! Maybe a strip of paper in front, or something. I'd recommend against paint, as that could transfer onto the pony.

Oh, nice! I've been following this thread in the shadows because I recently got some of my first sea ponies and very much see this... These weren't what I expected but they work haha.

It did spur me to design a little stand though.

What do you guys think?

Ohh, do you have a 3D printer? This would be awesome to make and sell! I'd be a buyer!

He, true, if you find an existing one it might save some trouble. But barring a "good enough" existing cheap stand, my idea is to make this one in the same shape as the sea pony body, just underneath the fins, so it should sit quite nicely. In theory!

That would be ideally perfect, to have them made specifically for seaponies for sure! now I really want some!

I'm not sure whose it was, but I saw a really cool one before. They had a sort of tank, not quite a fish tank, it was more open and shallow, and had a bed of a few layers of like marbles or those colored glass rocks, and put the seaponies in their floaties on top of that so that they could stand in their floaties and also kind of look like they were in the water.

I'm not big on seaponies so I don't I'll ever get to do it myself, but if I ever did collect them I'd want to display mine like that!

Edit to add: And I guess without floaties you could still pile the rocks in a way to hold them up.
