G1 Does he have a haircut?

I got this lovely Barnacle over the weekend at the SWPA meet, and he's swiftly become one of the favorites in my collection. He's so awesome!!

I noticed a long piece in his mane though, and was wondering if that's leftover from his original hair length, and he's had a sneaky haircut! I couldn't tell from photos online. (Either way, I love him terribly and I got him for only 10 dollars so I won't be upset)​

Could anyone who has a mint barnacle let me know if his hair should be longer than this?

that looks about right to me. It's not uncommon to find uneven hair, especially if the pony' been brushed and the hair loosened up
