Someone told me liquid hydrogen peroxide could fade painted parts when you soak them in, not like the cream version where it doesn’t when you cover them, is this true? I soaked one time an Lps and nothing went wrong, is it because of the paint?

Once upon a time hydrogen peroxide was a miracle cure for pindot mold - you’d soak the pony (symbols and all) in it and it would take care of all the black dots. You would not do this with obvious sensitive ponies like so sorts or magic message ponies.

Many people had great results with this technique - that being said they had results with many techniques that later damaged ponies, years later.

I never saw it fade their ponies but I haven’t looked up the long term effects, and what those same ponies look like now.
