Gosh! I can't believe it! I just came back from Australia and after spending 1/2 a month there and not being able to come on to the Arena, I feel so left out having missed so many new ponies that were released...:(

But today happens to be my lucky day! :) I've chanced upon the new Crystal Princess ponies! There were only 4 designs and they are:

Aren't they all beautiful!? I love Fairy Dust the most! She's really gorgeous! Anyway, I picked up 2 extra sets (i.e 8 ponies) for sale/trade :) Here's Thanks and I hope you all enjoy the pics!

How cute!!! Are they like another set of birthday ponies or something? I just thought that from the back of the box. I really like the ones with 3d symbols!
 
Hmm,I don't think they are another set of birthday ponies :) But I'm not sure...I believe it's part of the new packaging. Since it's the new Crystal Princess pony line, I think Hasbro decided to change the backcard along with the packaging! And I think it's really cool to have more knowledge about the pony! :D

Off-Topic: Oh! I love the plushes you make! I hope one day I will be able to comission one from you! They are simply adoreable! Much much more lovable than the ones Hasbro make! :D
 
The new packaging is cuter. I wish they would package everything like Pepperberry though. These boxes are such a pain to open. I like just ripping the backcard off and having the pony in my hand hehe!
 
looks like the cascade cuties have actual glitter on the symbol. me like!
 
I like them. I also like the idea of ponies with moveable heads. :)
 
those symbols look metallic, are they, like, foil symbols or something?
 
Wow! Those are beautiful! Its obvious they're making these for us, the collectors. A little kid would pull off that butterfly and eat it *haha* Oh goodness, I hope they don't recall them before realease... :lol:
 
Those are gorgeous! I really like fairy dust. I cant wait to start getting my hands on these guys.
 
The ponies cutie marks have glitter on them. I'm not too sure what "foil" means... :oops: As for the raised symbols, they are plastic? and they are stuck onto the ponies bodies.
 
oh, it's just glitter? by foil i meant... like aluminum foil. at craft stores you can buy it in different colors, cut shapes out of it, and stuff like that. i thought maybe hasbro was pressing foil symbols on the ponies' bodies. but glitter is good too. ^_____^
 
Those are adorable! I like the glittery ones most, but they are both cute. My daughter can't wait until they are here!

I think the birthday things are just another way of getting people to buy them for their kids. I would get Royal Bouquet for my daughter, since her birthday is in Feb...it works kinda like the beanie babies, I think. I would like the one from my birthday, Nov. 9, but it's a stinkin monkey! Just another way to get ponies to feel more like a "friend" than a toy, so kids want them all...just like Pokemon!!
 
diet otaku: Yea, I was thinking of aluminium foil too! :D But I suppose I associate it more with food than art! Lol. Hmm, I doubt there is any foil at all, just glitter? And it isn't a lot of glitter, it's the usual painted symbol and some glitter like on the butterfly wings and on the tulip flower itself :)

Squirtsquirt: Yup! I too feel that it's similar to the Ty beanie babies! I wanted a beanie that is on my b'day, 28 Oct, but it turns out to be Spinner the Spider...and I was really disappointed :(

p.s: I'm really afraid of spiders! :oops:
 
Wow! Wind Drifter suits me!! Sept birthday, love every shade of purple, love butterflies, love rainbow hair, etc... She was made just for me! :lol:

They are all gorgeous, and I will own every single one of them! LOL
 
Y'know, having ripped apart Brush and Grow ponies and as someone who has a vested interest in being able to disassemble these, I sure as heck hope that the head-turning mechanism in these babies is easy to work around.

They really are gorgeous. I love the 'crystal design' concept and the execution is prettier than I figured on.
 
Wind Drifter stole Rainbow Dash's hair!! Oh, the humanity!!!! :weird:
 
these kinda remind of some custom ponies people do and sell. its not a bad thing tho. I like the new packageing too. I wonder if its harder or easier to open seeing alot of people complained about the packageing methods.

Nu uh! Finger Paints starts green at top of head and goes to pink. Rainbow Dash and Wind Drifter start pink and go green. :)
