Hello from Sweden!

I'm nicknamed Grim. I've only lurked these forums before but now I've decided to make an account to easier get help with my collecting. I'm not much of a forum-person so I'll mostly be reading and not posting so much.

I started collecting after finding a G3 Wondermint at a fleamarket a couple of years ago and finding out how much fun it was restoring her. Now I go to just about every second hand-shop and fleamarket there is around here to find more ponies! A big part of my collection is made up of these finds. The biggest find I've made so far is a lot with two piggies and a spanish Peach Blossom with her original wings for a steal.

Sadly my ponies are currently in boxes so I only got some G4s on display. But as soon as me and my boyfriend get our own place again they're gonna be freed from their cardboard prisons!

I'll send some luck with the ferry. I've hit more duds than hits though, the trick is visiting many MANY markets all the time to even it out. :'D

When we spotted the piggies my friend was getting worked up and I almost had to stab him with my elbow so he wouldn't bring any attention to the stand. My pokerface that day was probably worth an oscar.

We are between places right now so we share an apartment with his sister. I had a lovely pony-room at our last place and I really miss it so heres hoping it wont take to long to get our own. c:

It's cool that you are into restoring ponies. I'm still 100% clueless about that. It's okay for now since my collection is all G4s, but I want to get into the older gens so it's something I'm going to need to tackle eventually.

I problably should have phrased that differently. When I read it now it sounds like I work with the paint and the rehairing and such, but I have no idea how to do that. c8 Just giving them a good clean and brushing is my game.
Oh you have to try cleaning a really grimey G1! It's amazing how much dirt they can get stuck to their bodies over the years so when you finally get down to their original color and get the hair untangled it's almost a spiritual experience. :'D
